The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eikmeyer on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Cigan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Eikmeyer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cigan.
Eikmeyer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cigan circles away.
Eikmeyer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cigan defends well and Eikmeyer ends up having to push Cigan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Eikmeyer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Eikmeyer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cigan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cigan tries to escape but Eikmeyer has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Cigan holding both Eikmeyer 's hands and preventing any damage.
Cigan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eikmeyer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cigan won't enjoy being in this position. Eikmeyer looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Cigan is tapping - it's over boys! Eikmeyer picks up the submission victory!

Mario Eikmeyer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Djadjo Cigan stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well I wanna coungradulate my opponent, he was better than me this night, I ll do my best to get back soon and win next fights, love you all.'.

Miranovic tries to bum rush Benko with a series of wild strikes but Benko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Benko shoots in for a double leg but Miranovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Vojtech Benko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Pearse has knocked Masuka down with a huge combo! Pearse steps away and waves a wobbly Masuka back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Vincent Masuka has been cut.
Adamh Pearse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pearse circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Masuka to the canvas! Masuka doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Pearse keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
