0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Johanson! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johanson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Johanson throws a big right hand that misses. Johanson wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his posture from full guard. Johanson trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie has his hands on Johanson's head, controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Johanson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johanson moves to clinch but Gracie breaks away and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gracie passes into half guard. Johanson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gracie's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gracie's back! Gracie trying to control the hands but Johanson won't let him. Gracie breaks Johanson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johanson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gracie is thwarting Johanson's attempts to control the position.
Rorthrar Gracie has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Johanson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie. Excellent takedown into side control there by Johanson. That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johanson keeps working. Johanson is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gracie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johanson defends it well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johanson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Johanson missing with punches from the bottom.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Johanson is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rorthrar Gracie will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gracie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Johanson is looking to stand back up but Gracie counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Johanson.

Gajtkowski tries to clinch but fails miserably and Django counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gajtkowski wants to clinch and Django counters with a crisp one two that drops Gajtkowski! Django thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gajtkowski to his feet! Gajtkowski is in big trouble!
Gajtkowski is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gajtkowski closes the distance but Django moves to the side and Django counters with a huge left! Gajtkowski is in big trouble! He's backing up but Django isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gajtkowski from any more damage. A dominating finish by Django!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aff looks to land a combination but Myers avoids it well. Myers takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Aff is looking to clinch. Myers needs to keep his hands up - Aff had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Zack Myers has been cut. Aff lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Aff has managed to clinch.
Myers is looking to take this one to the mat. Aff makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Aff will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Myers up against the cage. Myers prevents a body shot from Aff. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aff displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Myers. We've been told by Aff's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Fight Club - ELITE TRAINERS----$580 that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Myers manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aff on his heels. He'll look to pass Aff's guard now, I'm sure. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Myers tries to free his leg and advance position but Aff is retaining full guard. Myers slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Myers is working to tighten his grip on Aff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Aff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Myers is really squeezing tight and eventually Aff passes out! Myers breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mona Rudao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vega Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudao comes into the arena with Rebel Yell blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mona Rudao! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vega Sagat! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rudao staying out of range there. Rudao throws a right and a left that Sagat avoids nicely. Rudao misses with a two punch combination.
Rudao throws a body punch but Sagat moves out of range. Sagat fails to land with a series of punches.
Sagat misses with a head kick.
Rudao swings for the body but Sagat moves out of range.
Rudao avoids the head kick by Sagat.
No joy there for Sagat, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rudao drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sagat's coach down at Tenacity Elite - 17 Coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sagat's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sagat lands a nice shot that snaps Rudao's head back.

It looks like Mona Rudao has been cut. Sagat tries a head kick but it misses.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sagat. Rudao has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rudao checks the leg kick nicely there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sagat misses with a straight right. Sagat misses with a few strikes there.
Sagat throws a big shot that misses. Rudao closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sagat misses with a body shot.
Rudao throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sagat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rudao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rudao avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sagat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sagat lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Rudao misses with a wild body shot. Sagat scores with a push kick. Vega Sagat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rudao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sagat drops Rudao with a beautiful combination! Rudao stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sagat is looking for the KO! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sagat! Rudao is out on his feet! Sagat rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rudao is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rudao is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
