The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva.
Allen is pushing Silva's head away, looking to escape. Silva manages to hold on to the position though.

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Allen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Allen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Silva has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva swings around for an armbar but Allen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Allen controls the pace.

Allen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allen has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.

Petrov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as May walks away with a smile on his face. Petrov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Petrov tries to close the distance and clinch up but May swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Petrov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching May on his heels. He'll look to pass May's guard now, I'm sure.
May is pulling down on Petrov's head. It's preventing any offense from Petrov, at least for the moment.
Petrov wants to stand but May has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
