Turk drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Turk seems to have locked his on tight now - Nyrkki screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Turk, as he picks up the win!

Xinchang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Xinchang moves forwards but Margabiaru connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Margabiaru has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Xinchang just misses with a punch to the body.
Xinchang fails to land with a series of punches.
Xinchang needs to keep his hands up - Margabiaru had a free shot at his head there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Margabiaru cracks Xinchang with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Oh Xinchang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Margabiaru uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Xinchang.
Liu Xinchang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Margabiaru lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Xinchang up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Margabiaru from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Xinchang's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moo dives in and scores a takedown into Ahokas's guard.

Moo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Moo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ahokas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Moo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ahokas sees it coming and defends easily.

Moo wants to advance to full mount but Ahokas doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikey Moo was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Moo moves away from the strike by Ahokas.

A clash of legs there as Ahokas blocks the low kick.

Moo has managed to clinch.
Moo tries to pull guard but Ahokas won't allow it.

Ahokas gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Moo regains guard.
Moo wants to sweep but no luck.
Ahokas scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Ahokas is working Moo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ahokas throws an elbow that misses. Moo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ahokas's guard. Nice move by Moo!
Moo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ahokas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moo won't allow Ahokas to sweep him here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Juha Ahokas will probably get the nod.

Ahokas is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

so Ahokas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ahokas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ahokas working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moo's head.
Ahokas stopping the sweep attempt from Moo.
Moo is looking to stand up but Ahokas isn't so interested in that idea.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ahokas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Juha Ahokas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Moo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ahokas defends well.
Ahokas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ahokas stands up over Moo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ahokas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Moo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ahokas slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Moo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Ahokas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ahokas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ahokas has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Moo stuffs the takedown.
Ahokas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moo.

Moo with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Moo throws a head kick but Ahokas moves out of range.
Ahokas throws a shot to the body.
Moo falls off balance throwing a combination

and Ahokas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moo won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ahokas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Moo is rocked!
Moo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Moo is still in real trouble! Can Ahokas finish him?
Moo tries to bench press Ahokas off him but Ahokas keeps the position.
Ahokas scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Moo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ahokas can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

A relieved looking Juha Ahokas thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
