Orvel is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Babcock has cracked Orvel with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Babcock lands another huge swinging hook and Orvel tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Orvel, before Babcock can land any more shots!

Poletto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Poletto connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caesar throws a sloppy body shot
and Gornev counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Caesar blocks a head kick by Gornev.
A head kick by Gornev misses so Caesar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Caesar scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Caesar wants to pass the guard but Gornev is keeping the position. Caesar with a flurry of punches that miss. Caesar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Caesar postures up in Gornev's guard and throws a big left but Gornev blocks it. Caesar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Caesar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gornev's head. Caesar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Gornev working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Caesar. Caesar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gornev wants to stand up but Caesar is controlling him. Caesar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Caesar with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Caesar won't allow Gornev to get back to his feet. Caesar tries to free his leg and advance position but Gornev is retaining full guard. Caesar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Caesar sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gornev wants to get back to his feet but Caesar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Caesar happy to just control the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Caesar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gornev for as long as he can get away with. Caesar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sir Digby Caesar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Caesar won't let Gornev get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Caesar jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick from Drascoe. Drascoe throws a push kick but Banner slaps the foot to one side. Drascoe misses with a hook. Drascoe throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Drascoe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Banner. Drascoe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Banner lands with a nice body punch. A punch lands to the side of Banner 's head but he takes it in his stride. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Banner avoids the head kick by Drascoe.
Drascoe throws a shot from downtown. Banner moves away and avoids it. Banner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Banner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Drascoe. Drascoe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Banners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Drascoe lands with a thumping leg kick.
