Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nano Sungia! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan swinging wildly here.
Sungia tries to score with a low kick but Jordan moves his leg out of the way. Jordan is looking to clinch. Jordan shoots for a double leg takedown but Sungia sprawls well. He's pushed Jordan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sungia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jordan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sungia scores with a punch to the head. Jordan checks a low kick from Sungia. A shot to de liver by Sungia. Beautiful body shot. Sungia throws a wild body kick that Jordan sees coming a mile off. Jordan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A nice inside leg kick there by Sungia. That's going to slow Jordan down. Sungia throws a low kick, looking for Jordan's leg but Jordan calmly moves out of range. Sungia lands a jab to the head.

Sungia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jordan. Sungia cracks Jordan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jordan moves forwards but Sungia connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jordan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sungia manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sungia is on top in guard.
Sungia stands and steps away. Jordan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Sungia connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Sungia throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Sungia throws a half hearted mid kick. Nano Sungia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Danga de danga de dang - Sungia scores with a four punch combination! Jordan shoots in looking for a takedown. Sungia tries to sprawl out of it but Jordan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sungia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jordan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jordan is breathing heavily. Sungia throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jordan shoots in for a double leg but Sungia sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sungia throws a good cross that connects.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sungia misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan looks for a takedown but Sungia sprawls well. Sungia jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jordan shoots in for a double leg but Sungia sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sungia scores with a one two! Jordan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sungia tries to work over Jordan's front leg with a kick but Jordan checks it. Sungia fails to land with a series of punches.
Jordan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sungia avoids it really well and circles away. No joy there for Sungia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sungia is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jordan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sungia pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sungia misses with a combination
and Jordan counters by moving into the clinch. Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A left and a right from Sungia both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Freddie Jordan has been cut. Jordan takes one to the side of the head.
Jordan shoots for a double leg takedown but Sungia sprawls well. He's pushed Jordan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sungia lands with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sungia throws a series of strikes that have Jordan backpedaling.
Freddie Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sungia motions for Jordan to come forward. Sungia throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sungia lands a jab to Jordan's midsection. Nice sprawl there from Sungia as Jordan shoots in. Sungia paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Sungia is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. and Sungia counters with a straight right hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sungia thumps Jordan with a low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sungia throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sungia throws a series of punches but Jordan moves out of range. Nano Sungia seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sungia works the jab nicely. Jordan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Sungia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sungia throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jordan. Sungia feints and then cracks Jordan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jordan down. Sungia throws a push kick but Jordan slaps the foot to one side. A combination from Sungia does no damage. Jordan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sungia.
Sungia throws a chopping leg kick but Jordan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Sungia connects with a looping right hand.
Sungia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sungia. Sungia misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan rushes Sungia and presses him up against the cage. Jordan is trying to trip Sungia. He has hold of a leg but Sungia is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jordan persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Sungia trying to keep a closed guard but Jordan is proving a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sungia can do anything to dispel that myth. Jordan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jordan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sungia wants to sweep here but Jordan controlling him for the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sungia moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jordan closes the distance but Sungia moves to the side and Sungia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jordan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sungia swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddie Jordan. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Sungia. Sungia throws a leg kick which misses Jordan's front leg but catches the back leg as Jordan tries to avoid it. Jordan shoots in for a double leg but Sungia sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jordan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sungia. Sungia scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Sungia lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jordan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sungia sprawls well. Sungia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jordan gets slowly back to his feet.

Sungia looks to land a combination but Jordan avoids it well. Freddie Jordan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jordan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sungia sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sungia lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Sungia gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jordan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sungia keeping moving, preventing Jordan from controlling successfully. Jordan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jordan throwing strikes but missing. Jordan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Sungia wants to sweep here but Jordan controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Nano Sungia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sungia winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
