The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Miller cracks Bum with a solid left hand.
Miller works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bum wants to get back to full guard.
Bum keeps trying to improve his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Miller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Miller escapes and gets back to his feet.

It looks like Sheer Bum has been cut.
BOOM! Miller lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bum. Bum tries to recover but Miller is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bum lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Tank Abott has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Slice has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Slice closes the distance and clinches up with Abott, looking for a takedown. Slice pushes Abott against the cage but Abott circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Abott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abott somewhat.
Abott throws a jab when Slice was well out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Abott has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Slice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Abott.
Abott tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Slice counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Abott out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Slice is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
