The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nakkan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Duarte is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Duarte distracts Nakkan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Juarez takes the fight into the clinch.

Ardona looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Juarez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ardona is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Juarez is controlling him well.
Ardona manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Ardona wants to get back to his feet.
Juarez is pressing down on Ardona's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ardona is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ardona is working an open guard so Juarez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Juarez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Juarez looks to score with a jab to the body but Ardona is just out of range.

Juarez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ardona as he jumps to the side.

Ardona keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ardona scores with the left hand. Juarez knows he should have avoided that one.

Raymore Ardona is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ardona lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Ardona counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Ardona counters with a two punch combo.
Ardona will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Juarez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Juarez has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Juarez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Juarez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ardona counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ardona drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Juarez right on the button. Juarez goes down! Ardona follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Ardona gets the win via TKO!
