The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob shoots in looking for a takedown. Clow tries to sprawl out of it but Bob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bob shoots and misses
so Clow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bob wants to stand but Clow is controlling the position.
Bob working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bob is tightening it up a little... Clow has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Clow reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Clow taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bob!

Melendez shoots in for a takedown but Grave shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Meyer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

After initially coming in at 172.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. hi Kick looks tired to me.
