The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Saunders to the ground. Redz is now in Saunders's guard. Redz postures up.
Redz trying to control the position from guard on top but Saunders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Saunders seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Saunders is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Redz tries to free his leg and advance position but Saunders is retaining full guard. Saunders has control of Redz's left arm, preventing Redz from doing any damage. Saunders is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Saunders holds on and takes a little breather. Redz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Saunders controlling the position well. Redz is trying to control the action in half guard but Saunders is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Saunders might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Redz is nestled in close to Saunders, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Redz thows a huge punch but Saunders dodges it nicely.

My spies in Mano`s Elite BJJ Gym inform me that Redz has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Redz postures up in Saunders's guard and throws a big left but Saunders blocks it. Redz passes Saunders's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Saunders wants to control but Redz is keeping busy.
Saunders is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Redz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saunders is refusing to be controlled, as Redz sits in half guard. Saunders is trying to stand up here but Redz is controlling him well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Takeo Toast Saunders. Saunders steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redz. Saunders steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redz.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Saunders pulls Redz in close to his closed guard and prevents Redz from doing any damage or advancing position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Wait, no, Saunders rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Redz's guard! Nice work there by Saunders! Saunders works a leg free and moves into half guard. Saunders scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Saunders throwing shots but Redz is blocking nicely. Redz is holding on to half guard well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kveldulfson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ei.
Kveldulfson misses with a hook. A head kick misses from Kveldulfson. Ei looks to land a combination but Kveldulfson avoids it well. Ei lands a right hook to the body.

Ragnar Kveldulfson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ei throws a right hand that Kveldulfson ducks under and follows up with a left that Kveldulfson also avoids with ease. Ragnar Kveldulfson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kveldulfson drives through and clinches with Ei against the cage.

Kveldulfson is rocked! Ei creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kveldulfson with a big uppercut! Kveldulfson tries to clinch up but Ei pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Kveldulfson to the mat! Kveldulfson covers up and Ei unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

JeEs dips a shoulder and cracks Huber with a mighty uppercut! Huber falls back against the cage and JeEs unloads with a barrage of strikes! Huber is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - JeEs screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Pelle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Potasu sizes up Juntta with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sorbinian Potasu seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Juntta slips a jab and a cross from Potasu.
