The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy dodges the punch combination from Marston.
Marston sizes up McCarthy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Marston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Some bone on bone action there as Marston checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
