The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lulu doesn't manage to clinch there - Beans circles away.
Lulu tries to close the distance and clinch but Beans swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lulu darts in trying to clinch
and Beans counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A shot to the liver by Beans. Beautiful body shot.
Lulu tries to move into range but Beans moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lulu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Beans throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Lulu tumbling to the canvas!
Lulu is still in real trouble! Can Beans finish him?
Beans controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lulu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lulu seems to have recovered his senses.
Beans cracks Lulu with a solid left hand.

Beans has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Beans controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lulu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Beans is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Boby Beans.
Lulu drops his hands for a split second and Beans immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Lulu face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Beans follows up with a right hand that knocks Lulu into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Mclean seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maximus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Maximus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Henderson dives in for a single leg takedown but Cierra sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

No joy there for Ferrigno, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dixon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferrigno has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've been hearing reports that Ferrigno has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ferrigno throws a series of punches but Dixon moves out of range.
Ferrigno lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ferrigno.

The fighters circle momentarily. Phillips darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Bob Baramari has been cut.
Baramari throws an overhand right that lands on Phillips's shoulder, as Phillips tries to avoid the shot.
Baramari showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Phillips.
Baramari lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Phillips tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baramari swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Phillips. Baramari does a little dance to reset his feet.

Phillips lands a big head kick that sends Baramari tumbling to the mat! Phillips takes a step backwards and waves Baramari back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Phillips is stalking Baramari. Baramari circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Phillips, and it's lights out! Baramari really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
