1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Rumble! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rumble throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rumble fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Armstrong, pushing him back against the cage. Rumble's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rumble fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rumble wants to clinch up but Armstrong keeps it at a distance. Rumble avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rumble has a takedown stuffed. No luck for Armstrong with that takedown attempt. Armstrong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rumble. Hank Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Rumble. Rumble shoots for a takedown but Armstrong saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Armstrong fails with a takedown attempt. Rumble ducks right into an uppercut from Armstrong.

Armstrong looks to clinch and Rumble holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Armstrong tries to circle away but Rumble has him pinned against the cage. Armstrong throws a punch but it's blocked by Rumble. Armstrong has a couple of punches blocked by Rumble.

Armstrong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rumble wants to stand but Armstrong is controlling the position. Rumble keeping moving, preventing Armstrong from controlling successfully. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Armstrong throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Armstrong slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Armstrong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rumble on the ground.

Hank Armstrong is winning the standup battle so far. Armstrong misses with a takedown attempt - Rumble sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rumble looks to score with a jab to the body but Armstrong is just out of range. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Armstrong is defended easily by Rumble. No luck with that takedown attempt from Armstrong. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rumble goes for a double leg but Armstrong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Armstrong continues to drive forward.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freeman throws a right hand that Guimba ducks under and follows up with a left that Guimba also avoids with ease. Freeman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Freeman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guimba avoids it really well and circles away. Ze Guimba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Freeman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Guimba. Guimba tries to close the distance and clinch but Freeman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Guimba lands a left and a right that send Freeman crashing to the mat, dazed. Guimba thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Wooooo! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guimba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Guimba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Freeman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guimba has managed to get both his arms back between Freeman's legs - danger averted. Freeman trying to strike off his back.
Guimba lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Freeman has his hands on Guimba's head, controlling the position. Freeman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Freeman tries to get out of the position. Guimba won't allow Freeman to sweep him here.

Freeman has his foot on Guimba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guimba works his way back into a safe position though. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guimba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Freeman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Freeman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Freeman looking to control but Guimba is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Freeman thowing shots but they're missing.

Guimba sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Freeman stands up and beckons Guimba to join him on the feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Freeman closes the distance and pushes Guimba back into the cage. Guimba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Duendes is trying to stand up here but Schulmann is controlling him well. Schulmann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Duendes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Schulmann is looking for a kimura but Duendes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schulmann to get the leverage. Duendes on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Schulmann passes to side control.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buzz Sawyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eskobar Andersson! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Darius Henderson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sawyer misses the jab. Sawyer gets a takedown into half guard. Andersson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sawyer throws a strike but Andersson avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Andersson wants to sweep but no luck. Andersson told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Andersson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Andersson wants to stand and escape but Sawyer is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sawyer throws a strike but Andersson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sawyer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Andersson! Sawyer throws a strike there. Andersson manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Andersson is trying to stand up here but Sawyer is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sawyer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersson wants to get back to his feet.
Sawyer looks to land a strike but Andersson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Sawyer throws an elbow that misses. Andersson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sawyer's guard. Nice move by Andersson! Sawyer is looking to stand up but Andersson isn't so interested in that idea. Sawyer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Andersson gets to his feet - Sawyer follows without any prompting. Andersson moves to clinch but Sawyer breaks away and Sawyer counters with a nice body shot. Sawyer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson drives through and clinches with Sawyer against the cage.
Sawyer goes for a takedown attempt but Andersson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sawyer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Andersson wants to stand and escape but Sawyer is having none of it. Sawyer throwing strikes but missing. Andersson trying to control the position.
Sawyer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Andersson kicks Sawyer off and gets to his feet. Andersson lands a nice looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andersson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sawyer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Andersson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sawyer counters with a left to the body. Andersson closes the distance and clinches. Sawyer has Andersson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Andersson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Sawyer wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buzz Sawyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sawyer has had enough of the clinch but Andersson keeps him there for the moment. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Andersson lands a left hand.
Andersson lands a right hand. Sawyer working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Andersson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sawyer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Still in the clinch, Andersson scores with a nice short uppercut. Andersson keeps control of Sawyer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Andersson has Sawyer pressed against the cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Buzz Sawyer will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sawyer throws a hook but Andersson avoids it easily. Eskobar Andersson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Andersson tries to clinch there but Sawyer circles away.
Andersson tries to close the distance and clinch but Sawyer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sawyer throws a shot from downtown. Andersson moves away and avoids it. Andersson gets a clinch. Sawyer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Sawyer misses with a punch on the inside.
Our sources have told us that Sawyer has been working on his elbows in the gym. A hook to the body from Andersson.
Andersson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Come on Andersson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Sawyer looking for a takedown. Sawyer wants to get back to striking at distance but Andersson won't allow it.
Sawyer tries to pull guard but Andersson holds him up against the cage and eventually Sawyer drops back down to his feet.
A nice left hand lands by Andersson.
Andersson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sawyer. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Andersson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Andersson taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Andersson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sawyer backwards.

Andersson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sawyer up against the cage. Andersson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Sawyer takes a shot to the head.
Sawyer is rocked! Andersson lands a nice uppercut. Oh Sawyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Andersson throws a big uppercut that drops Sawyer! More strikes from Andersson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sawyer lies dazed against the cage as Andersson celebrates with his cornermen!
