We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Silva tries to keep at a distance but Mies has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mies has Silva pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mies pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Silva tumbling to the mat - Mies dives into Silva's guard.
