3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teemu Maijanen! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maijanen gets a clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Longshot just misses with a elbow thrown towards Maijanen's brow. Longshot lands an elbow just above Maijanen 's eye. Maijanen slows down the pace here.
Longshot throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Maijanen blocks it with crossed arms. Maijanen gets through Longshot's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A right hand to the body from Maijanen.
Maijanen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Longshot tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Longshot is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maijanen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Maijanen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Maijanen controlling Longshot's posture. Maijanen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Longshot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Longshot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Maijanen has Longshot pulled in close to control his posture. Maijanen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Maijanen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Longshot manages to get himself to full guard.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maijanen connects with a nice short shot to Longshot's temple. Longshot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maijanen on the ground. Longshot is trying to stand up here but Maijanen is controlling him well. Maijanen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Maijanen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Longshot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longshot pushes Maijanen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Maijanen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Longshot takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

A lazy left from Maijanen finds it's target. Maijanen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Longshot tries to clinch but fails miserably and Maijanen counters by clinching up. And that's the end of the fight! Teemu Maijanen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Maijanen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schiknsi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Steamboat. A telegraphed right hand from Schiknsi misses the target. A nice inside leg kick there by Steamboat. That's going to slow Schiknsi down. Steamboat avoids the body shot from Schiknsi.
Steamboat throws a sloppy head kick and Schiknsi moves out of range easily. Steamboat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Steamboat. Steamboat looks to land a combination but Schiknsi avoids it well. Schiknsi throws a combination that misses and Steamboat counters with a thumping low kick. Schiknsi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Schiknsi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Schiknsi throws a right and a left that Steamboat avoids nicely. Schiknsi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Steamboat connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Schiknsi trying to control but Steamboat is working from the bottom. Schiknsi looking to sit in guard and control but Steamboat gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Schiknsi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steamboat avoids it really well and circles away. Steamboat avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Steamboat. No joy for Schiknsi on that attempt. Schiknsi has his takedown stuffed and Steamboat counters with a head kick. That will keep Schiknsi thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Ricky Steamboat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Schiknsi. A looping hook to the body misses from Schiknsi. Steamboat does a little dance to reset his feet. Steamboat lands a lovely overhand right. Schiknsi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steamboat to the mat! Steamboat manages to get full guard. Steamboat connects with a single shot there. Schiknsi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steamboat pinned against the cage. Steamboat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitewash drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Whitewash lunges at Lee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lee's hand. Whitewash dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Whitewash's head and hops out. Whitewash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Whitewash looks gassed! Donk. Lee catches Whitewash right on the button with a cross. Lee lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Whitewash fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Billy Whitewash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee tests Whitewash's chin there with a solid looking shot.
