18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Stand-Up Trainer 1! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asikainen wants to clinch. Trainer 1's coach down at Axia Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trainer 1's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Asikainen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A low kick from Trainer 1 misses and Asikainen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Trainer 1 is lucky that one didn't land flush. Trainer 1 misses with a shot to the body and Asikainen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Trainer 1's knee momentarily. Asikainen moves to clinch but Trainer 1 breaks away and Trainer 1 counters with an inside leg kick. Trainer 1 lands with a nice body kick. Stand-Up Trainer 1 seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Asikainen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Asikainen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Nice defenses there by Asikainen. Trainer 1 with a body punch. A glancing blow. Asikainen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Trainer 1 ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Trainer 1 circles away from the clinch attempt and Trainer 1 counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Trainer 1 chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Trainer 1 cracks the inside of Asikainen's front leg. Asikainen is breathing heavily. A nice inside leg kick there by Trainer 1. That's going to slow Asikainen down. Trainer 1 lands with an overhand left. Trainer 1 throws out a head kick that Asikainen doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Asikainen crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Asikainen's eyes and has decided to let it go on! Trainer 1 lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Trainer 1 throws a sloppy head kick and Asikainen moves out of range easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Trainer 1. That's going to slow Asikainen down. Asikainen walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Trainer 1 rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Asikainen has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stand-Up Trainer 1 will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!

Not much technique there but it did the business. Trainer 1 tries a head kick but it misses.
Trainer 1 pushes Asikainen away with a front kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Asikainen closes the distance looking to clinch and Trainer 1 counters with an outside leg kick.

Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Trainer 1 dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Asikainen. That did some damage! Stand-Up Trainer 1 seems to be getting the better of the standup. Trainer 1 throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Trainer 1 pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trainer 1 ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Trainer 1 dips to his left and cracks Asikainen with an uppercut! Asikainen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tommy Asikainen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Good leg kick by Trainer 1 there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Trainer 1 lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Asikainen goes down! The ref sends Trainer 1 to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Asikainen is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action! Oh Asikainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Asikainen walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

A very excited looking Stand-Up Trainer 1 made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Kuiper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kuiper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Kuiper throws a lazy right hand but Eurburn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kuiper ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cooper or not. Dallas lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Dallas throws a hook to the body. Cirkovic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Treimanis was well out of range. Poor timing from Cirkovic. Treimanis takes one to the chin there. Treimanis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Treimanis getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Treimanis is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Cirkovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Treimanis throws an overhand right that lands on Cirkovic's shoulder, as Cirkovic tries to avoid the shot. Cirkovic dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cirkovic thumps Treimanis with a low kick. Cirkovic avoids a kick to the body.

Cirkovic misses with a wild body shot. Treimanis throws a lazy right hand but Cirkovic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cirkovic moves out of range as Treimanis throws a body kick.
Treimanis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cirkovic. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cirkovic lands a jab to the head.
Treimanis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nice uppercut lands for Cirkovic. That snapped Treimanis's head back.
The fighters circle momentarily. Cirkovic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milovan Cirkovic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Oskars Treimanis's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Treimanis looks to throw a body kick and Cirkovic takes advantage, countering with a massive head kick that sends Treimanis sprawling across the canvas! That's completely screwed up his equilibrium and I'm not sure he's going to beat the count! The referee's already at 6 and Treimanis is flopping around all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has called an end to the fight!
