The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakhotia swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jaques scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Bajrang Jakhotia has been cut. Jakhotia misses with a straight right. Jaques walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jaques defending well as Jakhotia loads up on a big left hand. Bajrang Jakhotia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jaques dives in and grabs Jakhotia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jakhotia pushes down on Jaques's head and hops out. Jaques lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jakhotia circles away quickly and effectively. Jakhotia throws a shot from downtown. Jaques moves away and avoids it. Jaques tries to bum rush Jakhotia with a series of wild strikes but Jakhotia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jaques lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jaques. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jaques slips under a jab from Jakhotia. Jakhotia takes one on the button. Jakhotia misses with a few strikes there.

Jaques connects with a superb combination that knocks Jakhotia out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Jaques before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Jakhotia!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meldir moves in looking to clinch but MacKenzie pushes him off. Meldir misses with a kick to the body.
Meldir tries to clinch but MacKenzie is having none of it. Horrible takedown by Meldir or perhaps it was just good defense by MacKenzie which made him look bad. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! MacKenzie fails to land the takedown. Meldir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MacKenzie paws at him with a jab and circles away. A slapping leg kick lands for MacKenzie.

Joe throws a right hand that Law ducks under and follows up with a left that Law also avoids with ease. Joe lands a left and a right that send Law crashing to the mat, dazed. Joe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ren! Mikhailovich is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ren can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mikhailovich working for a submission but Ren is keeping him at bay. Ren really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mikhailovich lands a heavy elbow. Mikhailovich throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ren because Mikhailovich loaded up on that one. Mikhailovich has hold of Ren's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission.
