Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Cote! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, You Suck! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cote lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Suck at a distance.
Cote fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Suck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cote moves to clinch but Suck breaks away and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Cote fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cote is looking to clinch. Suck looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Cote slips a jab and a cross from Suck.
Some wild striking there from Cote.
Cote shoots in and drives through. Suck sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Cote. That's going to take a lot out of him. Suck takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Suck throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cote's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cote misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cote throws a push kick but Suck slaps the foot to one side. Cote tries to close the distance and clinch up but Suck swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cote throws a series of strikes that have Suck backpedaling.
It looks like You Suck has been cut. Cote with a jab. Cote gets tackled into the cage by Suck. Suck maintains the clinch. Cote breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Suck stuffs the takedown. Cote uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Suck has time to react. Suck rushes Cote and presses him up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Suck turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cote tries to bench press Suck off him but Suck keeps the position. Cote sneaks back into half guard.

Suck trying to control from half guard but Cote is working away. Suck tries to stand and escape but Cote is controlling the position. Suck controlling the pace. Suck wants to pass the guard but Cote is defending well. Suck is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cote sees it coming and defends easily.

Suck pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cote is keeping the position for now. Cote is controlling Suck's posture. Cote looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cote manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cote wants to control the pace but Suck is squirming around nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We're going to have a standup here because Patrick Cote wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Suck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cote's waist but Cote gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Suck off to one side. Nice cross by Suck. Cote closes this distance looking for a takedown but Suck circles away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Suck gets a double leg takedown into Cote's guard. Cote pushes Suck off and gets back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cote shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Suck pinned against the cage. Suck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suck takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Cote controlling his opponent. Suck is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cote is standing up, even though he is in mount. Cote dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Suck tries to clinch up but Cote circles away and keeps his distance. Suck leaves Cote with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cote shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Suck as he avoids it easily. Patrick Cote is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Suck tries for a takedown but Cote sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cote shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Suck napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cote has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. We've been told by Cote's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Cote tries a head kick but it misses.
Suck closes the distance and clinches. Cote looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Cote is trying to force a seperation but Suck has the dominant position. Suck is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Cote tries a knee to the head but Suck blocks it.
Suck pulls guard successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cote trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Suck has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cote has passed into side control.
Suck is looking to reverse the position. Cote prevents Suck from escaping the position. Cote is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Suck is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cote stands up. You Suck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Patrick Cote is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Suck misses with a double jab
and Cote counters with a nice leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Patrick Cote showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cote, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bum shoots for a double leg takedown but Stout sprawls well. He's pushed Bum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bum tries for a takedown but Stout sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Stout. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stout trying to control the position but Bum is working away. Stout decides to stand back up. Stout steps back and let's Bum get back to his feet. Stout closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bum quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Bum manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bum pushes a forearm under Stout's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Stout is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Christopher drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rothko dives on top into guard. Rothko stays in close to Christopher's body and controls the position. Christopher can't keep his opponent in guard - Rothko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rothko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rothko wants to control but Christopher is keeping him busy. Rothko not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rothko passes the guard and advances to mount! Rothko wants to control the pace but Christopher is squirming around nicely. Rothko manages to capitalize on a mistake by Christopher to take his back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sugden, as that shot connected.
Sugden throws a right hand that Trig ducks under and follows up with a left that Trig also avoids with ease. Sugden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sugden connects with a crisp jab. Sugden definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Nice shot by Sugden. Sugden lands a nice looking body shot.

Sugden tries to move into range but Trig moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Trig throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Trig takes a swing at Sugden's ribcage but misses. Sugden misses with a series of wild punches.
Trig looks to land a combination but Sugden avoids it well. Trig fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trig has taken the fight to the clinch.

Trig is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Trig just leaning against Sugden, taking a breather. Trig keeps control of Sugden as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sugden is looking to break free of the clinch but Trig has double underhooks. Sugden wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Trig breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Trig instigates a clinch. Trig's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Trig walks into a left hand. Chad Sugden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trig slips a jab from Sugden. A punch combination from Sugden misses. That's three minutes gone in the round. Sugden doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trig counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sugden is breathing heavily. Trig throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Trig's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sugden connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Trig scrambles back to his feet. Sugden avoids the head kick by Trig.
Trig closes the distance and clinches. Trig breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jab from Sugden. Sugden cracks Trig with a right hand to the side of the head. Trig closes the distance and pushes Sugden back into the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Trig.
Trig continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trig is rocked! Trig has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sugden. Trig is still on wobbly legs! Can Sugden finish him? Sugden lands with a nice body kick. Trig seems to have recovered his senses. Sugden bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Trig's head backwards. It's a brutal combination of punches from Sugden! Trig is backing up but he can't get away as Sugden lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Trig and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guida moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Guida moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Some wild striking there from Newsom.
Newsom swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Newsom tries to clinch up and Guida counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Guida closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Guida moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guida is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Newsom looks calm but he's in trouble here. Guida gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Newsom is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Guida lets go of the hold and Newsom can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Parks closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Parks pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Riley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nim defends well and Riley ends up having to push Nim into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Riley has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nim is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tim Nim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ethan Riley. Nim tries to circle away but Riley has him pinned against the cage. Riley goes for a takedown attempt but Nim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nim connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Riley fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Riley sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Riley looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Nim closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Sapp! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sapp parries the strikes from Lesnar easily there. Lesnar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sapp to escape.
Lesnar in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Sapp is not content to let Lesnar control the position. Lesnar decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sapp tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lesnar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lesnar keeps the fight on the outside. Sapp darts in trying to clinch and Lesnar counters with a head kick that drops Sapp to the mat! Sapp scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! This has been an exciting period of action! Lesnar rushes Sapp and presses him up against the cage. Sapp tries to break the clinch but Lesnar is controlling the position. Lesnar has Sapp pressed against the cage, preventing Sapp from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sapp tries to break the clinch but Lesnar is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Lesnar working some nice short punches in the clinch. Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sapp tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt. Lesnar takes the fight into the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lesnar takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sapp wants to break free but Lesnar has control.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lesnar has hold of one of Sapp's legs. Sapp is fighting the takedown attempt but Lesnar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lesnar gets to his feet - Sapp follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice jab there from Lesnar. Sapp looks to land a combination but Lesnar avoids it well. Sapp is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lesnar lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sloppy strikes from Lesnar. Those never looked like landing. A slow jab from Sapp misses its intended target. Sapp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lesnar throws a right and a left that both miss. Lesnar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sapp connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lesnar scrambles back to his feet. Lesnar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Bob Sapp has been cut. Sapp fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lesnar scores with a nice strike. Sapp misses with a two punch combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapp avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lesnar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lesnar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sapp is trying to keep Lesnar in close.
Lesnar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sapp's guard. Lesnar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lesnar working Sapp over with strikes. Sapp felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Sapp is trying to get back to full guard. Lesnar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lesnar lands strikes from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sapp blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lesnar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sapp's head. Sapp makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sapp. Sapp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lesnar is one step ahead there. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lesnar trying to control but Sapp is working from the bottom. Lesnar throws a big right hand that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bob Sapp's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lesnar feints and as Sapp raises his hands in defense, Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lesnar with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar throws a big elbow that misses. Lesnar drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lesnar seems to have locked his on tight now - Sapp screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lesnar, as he picks up the win!
