The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to clinch there but Serrano circles away.
Silva throws a right and a left that Serrano avoids nicely. Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva is looking to clinch but Serrano is avoiding it.
Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Serrano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Serrano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Serrano is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! No luck for Serrano with that takedown attempt. Serrano fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the ropes. Silva with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Silva breaks from the clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Serrano on that attempt. Serrano's coach down at Stark Slugger Society - NY was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Serrano's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Shane Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Serrano. Silva moves out of range as Serrano throws a body kick.

It looks like Brian Serrano has been cut. An inside leg kick lands from Silva. Serrano is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him? Silva moves into range and clinches up with Serrano. A short body shot lands from Silva as the two fighters clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munoz clinches. Wallace lands a takedown into guard.
Munoz wants to sweep but no luck. Wallace has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Munoz is trying to control the position but Wallace postures up. Wallace preventing the sweep. Wallace trying to control but Munoz is working from the bottom. Munoz is trying to control the position but Wallace postures up. Wallace prevents Munoz from getting back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Munoz fails in his attempt to clinch. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Munoz working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Munoz is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Munoz passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wallace! Wallace tries to control the position but Munoz now has his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Munoz looking for the choke from the back. Munoz avoiding Wallace 's attempts to control his hands. Munoz is punishing Wallace with some ground and pound. Munoz wants to control but Wallace is keeping busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Munoz is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Grace wants to sweep but no luck. Gracie throwing strikes but missing. Grace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Grace is working the butterfly guard. Jackson dips to his left and cracks Hartmann with an uppercut! Hartmann lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hartmann throws a right and a left that both miss. Jackson throws a right and a left that Hartmann avoids nicely. Hartmann scores with a three punch combo!

Erwin Hartmann has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson working some strikes from top position. Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers shoots for a takedown but Perkovic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rogers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Perkovic's waist but Perkovic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rogers off to one side. Rogers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mikhail Perkovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers. Rogers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Perkovic circles away. Perkovic throws a nice head kick!

Let's see whether that pays dividends! Rogers has hold of Perkovic's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Perkovic tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rogers cranks the arm and Perkovic screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Perkovic, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roosmalen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Roosmalen tries to bum rush Palmer with a series of wild strikes but Palmer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jab by Roosmalen. Roosmalen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've been hearing reports that Palmer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Roosmalen looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Stefan Roosmalen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Palmer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. It looks like Stefan Roosmalen has been cut. Roosmalen seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Palmer shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Roosmalen is backing up but Palmer catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Roosmalen covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Palmer Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leland Palmer! A very excited looking Leland Palmer rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
