The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saur.
Smith displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Saur has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Saur shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Saur fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Saur shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Saur's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Steven Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bulb Saur.

Saur dives in and scores a takedown into Smith's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Smith loads up on a big left hand. Saur felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Smith looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Saur can't hide his disappointment, as Smith celebrates the victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson goes for a double leg but Spong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Spong continues to drive forward.
A short uppercut from Spong.
Spong throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Karlsson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Spong, as that shot connected.
Karlsson closes the distance and clinches up with Spong, looking for a takedown. Karlsson pushes Spong against the cage but Spong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Karlsson does no damage.
Spong throws a shot from downtown. Karlsson moves away and avoids it.
Karlsson fails with the takedown.
Tyrone Spong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Karlsson.

Karlsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Spong works Karlsson's body with a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Spong has knocked Karlsson down with a huge combo! Spong steps away and waves a wobbly Karlsson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Karlsson darts in looking for a takedown but Spong gets double underhooks and turns Karlsson into the cage.

Spong feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Karlsson sprawling to the canvas! Karlsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Spong finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Spong cracks Karlsson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Spong has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Karlsson to stand back up!
Spong fakes the body blow, causing Karlsson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Karlsson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Lee drops Eddy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eddy looks back up at him and smiles so Lee waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Monroe Eddy has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Ironfist Lee has been cut.
Eddy lands with a nice combination. Lee backs away looking to recover.
Eddy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee drops Eddy with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lee follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Owraa tries a head kick but it misses.
Owraa wants to clinch up but Holtz keeps it at a distance.

Owraa tries to bum rush Holtz with a series of wild strikes but Holtz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Holtz bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Owraa tries a low kick but Holtz avoids it.
Owraa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Owraa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Owraa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holtz circles away quickly and effectively.
Owraa throws a sloppy head kick and Holtz moves out of range easily.

Holtz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Owraa napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Holtz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Holtz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Holtz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holtz is looking to take a break and control but Owraa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
