Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Evurts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grand Master Yip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evurts kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the Jungle. Yip Man comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Everything in it's right place kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Stephan Evurts has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

19 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Grand Master Yip Man! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evurts tries to bum rush Yip Man with a series of wild strikes but Yip Man uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A leg kick checked by Evurts. Yip Man looks to land a left hand but Evurts moved out of range nicely. Yip Man avoids a punch combination nicely.
Evurts throws a series of punches but Yip Man avoids them all with ease. Some wild striking there from Evurts.
Yip Man connects with a good right hand that stumbles Evurts. Evurts circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Evurts pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Yip Man darts in looking for a takedown but Evurts gets double underhooks and turns Yip Man into the cage. Yip Man gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Yip Man trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Evurts manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Evurts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Yip Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yip Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Evurts forces his way into half guard. Yip Man looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Evurts looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Yip Man is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Evurts pulls his head out easily. Yip Man is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Yip Man is looking to control Evurts's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yip Man avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yip Man regains full guard. Nicely done. Evurts has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yip Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Evurts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Evurts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Yip Man looking to control.

We're going to have a standup here because Stephan Evurts wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Evurts throws a series of punches but Yip Man avoids them all with ease. Evurts throws a series of punches but Yip Man moves out of range. No joy there for Evurts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Yip Man throws a nice outside leg kick. Yip Man tries to score a power double leg takedown but Evurts sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yip Man somewhat. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Evurts checks a leg kick. Evurts misses with a jab, cross combination.

Yip Man misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Evurts tries to improve position but can't. Evurts is not in a great position here, taking some shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yip Man trying to control the position but Evurts is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yip Man remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Evurts wants to control but Yip Man postures up. Evurts throws a hook to the side of Yip Man's head but Yip Man sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stephan Evurts is winning the standup battle so far. Yip Man gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Yip Man tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Evurts is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Yip Man buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Yip Man!! Yip Man is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Evurts throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephan Evurts! After the big win, Stephan Evurts made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors GREEN!160 and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saraiva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Saraiva's coach down at Team Listerman was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Saraiva's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Khavin connects with a body shot that sends Saraiva's belly button to the back. Khavin clinches up with Saraiva and pushes him back against the cage. Khavin tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Saraiva lands on the inside with an uppercut. Khavin wants to get back to striking at distance but Saraiva won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxlund waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Buttersnaps. Boxlund has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bad Pluto! in the buildup to the fight. Boxlund avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Buttersnaps misses with a head kick.
Boxlund staying out of range there. Buttersnaps has a takedown stuffed. Good leg kick by Boxlund there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boxlund misses with a punch on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russell slips under a jab. Cannon avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Russell. Russell bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cannon's head.
It looks like Matthew Cannon has been cut. Cannon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Russell throws out a loose jab but Cannon uses good head movement to avoid it. Cannon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Russell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cannon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Russell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cannon ducks right into an uppercut from Russell. Russell pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cannon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cannon works over Russell's head and body with a nice combination. Cannon misses with a few strikes there.
Cannon sizes up Russell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Russell moves forwards but Cannon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cannon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Cannon tries to bum rush Russell with a series of wild strikes but Russell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Russell displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Cannon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Russell.
Russell throws a lazy right hand but Cannon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Russell does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Cannon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Russell throws a combination that misses letting Cannon counter with a right hand. Russell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Russell takes a swing at Cannon's ribcage but misses. Russell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cannon with a nice cross. Russell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cannon. Cannon lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Cannon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Russell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cannon sees it coming and avoids it easily. Russell scores with a punch to the head. Nice shot by Cannon. Russell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fighters circling - Cannon throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cannon lands a really nice looking cross but Russell seems unphased.

Cannon is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Russell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Oh Cannon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Russell drops Cannon with a huge uppercut! Cannon drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Russell is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown misses the shot to the body. Brown leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Robbin Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range. Nice defenses there by Gracie. Brown slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet. Gracie darts in looking for a takedown but Brown gets double underhooks and turns Gracie into the cage. Victor Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbin Gracie. Nice body punch from Brown. Brown makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Brown tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gracie's elbow. Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Brown lands a couple of good shots and Gracie has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Brown is not going to allow Gracie to sit and survive in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brown haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Brown's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brown has Gracie flattened out and is raining down punches. I really don't envy Gracie right now.
Brown just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Gracie controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Brown gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brown's guard. Nice work there by Gracie.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie throws an elbow that misses. Brown uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gracie's guard. Nice move by Brown! Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Brown wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Brown pushes down on Gracie's leg and manages to get into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily. Gracie gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Strugalsky gets tackled into the cage by Steele. Steele maintains the clinch. Steele avoids the elbow strike from Strugalsky, against the cage.

Tatsuya tests MacTavish's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Tatsuya looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tatsuya gets cracked with a nice right hand there by MacTavish. MacTavish lunges at Tatsuya with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tatsuya's hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogin shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Hogin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hogin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wilson. Hogin throws a combination that misses and Wilson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Hogin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control.
