Snoppy tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Piil cranks the arm and Snoppy screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Snoppy, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zefafa Tanghe!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez avoids the head kick by Tanghe.

Gomez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tanghe's guard.
Gomez is looking to work some ground and pound but Tanghe has wrist control.

Tanghe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gomez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gomez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tanghe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tanghe has escaped and now he's on top!

Gomez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tanghe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gomez lands a nice short elbow.

Gomez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Gomez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tanghe keeps working.

Tanghe wants to improve his position but Gomez is controlling well.
Gomez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gomez frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tanghe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Gomez has hold of Tanghe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tanghe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Xzing Gomez really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sport Support logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
