The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Saur is able to avoid easily.

Lopez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lopez wants it to stay on the feet.

Lopez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lopez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lopez drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lopez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Saur's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lopez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Saur doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lopez.
Saur is refusing to be controlled, as Lopez sits in half guard.

Saur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lopez has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Saur's face.
Lopez connects with a bit shot that sees Saur covering up! More strikes from Lopez and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Lopez is our winner by TKO!

Smith clinches up with Kim and pushes him back against the ropes.
Our sources have told us that Smith has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
A frustrated look appears on Smith's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kim is looking for a takedown.
Kim tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smith just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Kim's coach down at MMA Gods - 16 Elites! + Roger Gracie was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kim's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Kim on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kim throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A fine choice. Dan Henderson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
