2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinton The Quick! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and The Quick counters with an inside leg kick. King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and The Quick makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. King really felt that one! King with a poor takedown and The Quick counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RC King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King shoots and misses and The Quick counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Quick. The Quick pulls guard. The Quick is looking to stand back up but King counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by The Quick. King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Quick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King. The Quick is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

King pulls The Quick in close to his closed guard and prevents The Quick from doing any damage or advancing position.

The Quick trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King pulls The Quick in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. RC King wasn't doing enough on the ground. The Quick moves into the clinch. King is trying to work for a single leg takedown but The Quick pulls him back up using the underhooks. The Quick drags the fight down to the ground.

He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The Quick trying to keep a closed guard but King is proving a slippery customer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The Quick bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard. The Quick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Quick postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it. The Quick wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Quinton The Quick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The Quick wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as King holds on and takes a little breather. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! You can see the frustration on The Quick's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Quick is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on King's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Quinton The Quick. Well The Quick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerra tests Suez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Guerra looks to land a combination. Suez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A looping hook to the body misses from Guerra. Suez does a little dance to reset his feet. Guerra shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Guerra throws an off balance right hand
and Suez counters with a right hand to the body. Suez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Guerra misses with a wild body shot. Suez motions for Guerra to come forward. Suez throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Suez tries to close the distance and clinch but Guerra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
