As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baby controls Dawson momentarily but Dawson frees himself.

Fighting Baby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Baby throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dawson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Baby changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dawson tries to avoid it but Baby manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dawson to the ground. Dawson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dawson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baby gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dawson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

I would just about give that final round to Fighting Baby.

Powers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Merlinius Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smoody takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Powers rushes Smoody with punches - Smoody moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Smoody goes down! Powers follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
