The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk scores with a takedown into Dre's guard. Dre thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Hawk throwing strikes from guard but Dre blocks nicely. Dre is looking to sweep but instead, Hawk has passed into half guard.
Dre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hawk is trying to control the action in half guard but Dre is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dre flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dre manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dre looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hawk sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dre's guard. Dre looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hawk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dre knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Hawk controlling the action here. Hawk is looking to advance position but Dre won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pamplona looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kungen! BOOM! Pamplona connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pamplona punishing his opponent with strikes. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pamplona lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kungen is rocked! Pamplona softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Kungen is out cold! Pamplona jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dambaugh throws a series of punches but Soujourner avoids them all with ease.

Soujourner misses with a takedown attempt - Dambaugh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dambaugh darts in and clinches Soujourner up against the cage. Soujourner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dambaugh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dambaugh has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dambaugh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Soujourner circles away quickly and effectively. Dambaugh is breathing heavily. Soujourner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Soujourner passes into half guard. Dambaugh tries to kick Soujourner off in order to stand up. Soujourner Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soujourner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dambaugh keeps working. Soujourner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dambaugh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dambaugh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Soujourner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Soujourner working the body and head with strikes. Soujourner is working to tighten is grip on Dambaugh's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dambaugh has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Soujourner is really squeezing tight and eventually Dambaugh passes out! Soujourner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rawls throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Junior was covering up waiting for the punch and Rawls finishes the takedown easily into guard. Junior looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rawls advances position into side control! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Rawls has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Rawls seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Junior for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rawls not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rawls's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fauatea does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jonesy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jonesy throws an overhand right that lands on Fauatea 's shoulder, as Fauatea tries to avoid the shot. Jonesy shoots in but Fauatea avoids the takedown attempt easily. A bone on bone clash there as Jonesy blocks the leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jonesy keeps the fight on the outside. An inside leg kick lands from Fauatea .

Fauatea slaps away a takedown attempt from Jonesy, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dominic Fauatea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pop Jonesy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fauatea is looking to score with low kicks. Fauatea throws a right hand that Jonesy ducks under and follows up with a left that Jonesy also avoids with ease. Fauatea throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jonesy shoots in looking for a takedown. Fauatea tries to sprawl out of it but Jonesy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fauatea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fauatea scores with a leg kick.

Jonesy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fauatea walks away with a smile on his face. Jonesy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Fauatea misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fauatea plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jonesy moves out of range as Fauatea strikes. Jonesy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fauatea misses with a looping right. Jonesy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jonesy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fauatea chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jonesy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fauatea moves away. Fauatea scoring well with a low kick there.
Pop Jonesy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fauatea plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jonesy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Jonesy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fauatea sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jonesy somewhat. Fauatea wants to clinch up but Jonesy keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dominic Fauatea is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jonesy misses with a body shot
and Fauatea makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
