 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fresh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duvalier sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fresh somewhat. Duvalier scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fresh looks to land a right hand but Duvalier moved out of range. Fresh moves out of range as Duvalier strikes. Fresh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Duvalier swivels and escapes. Fresh drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Fresh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duvalier sprawls well. Duvalier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leblanc moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dijkman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dijkman is looking for a kimura but Leblanc is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dijkman to get the leverage. Leblanc is trying to stand back up but Dijkman is controlling him

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dijkman connects with a nice short shot to Leblanc's temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dijkman prevents Leblanc from standing back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Leblanc enables Dijkman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Leblanc manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Leblanc wants to get back to his feet but Dijkman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lodbrok drives through with a takedown into Tank's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lodbrok distracts Tank with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lodbrok landing some decent shots from guard. Lodbrok is working Tank over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wooooo! Kodama's coach down at Basics -LOD- was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kodama's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kodama jumps guard but Doe stands there with Kodama around his waist. Kodama gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kodama is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Doe pulls him back up using the underhooks. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
