 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fair drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Malakoso misses with a series of wild punches.
Fair fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A jab lands there for Malakoso. A slow jab from Malakoso misses its intended target. Malakoso lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fair circles away quickly and effectively. Fair tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Malakoso was well out of range. Poor timing from Fair. A slow jab from Malakoso misses its intended target. Fair cracks Malakoso with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Malakoso's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Malakoso duly obliges. Malakoso swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fair falls off balance throwing a combination
and Malakoso makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Malakoso. Fair does a little dance to reset his feet. Malakoso tries to close the distance and clinch but Fair swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fair steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Malakoso.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Malakoso swings for the body but Fair moves out of range.
Fair scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Malakoso doesn't seem bothered though.
Fair looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Malakoso! Fair looking to control and managing it successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Fair has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Malakoso really wants to buck Fair off and get back to his feet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fair tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. I looks like Fair might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fair can do anything to dispel that myth. Malakoso prevents Fair from getting back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Malakoso wants to stand but Fair is controlling his posture from full guard.
Fair is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fair not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Malakoso wants to stand but Fair has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice defenses there by Fair. A looping hook to the body misses from Malakoso. Fair does a little dance to reset his feet. Fair looks to land a combination but Malakoso avoids it well. Malakoso scores with a jab. Fair shoots in looking for a takedown. Malakoso tries to sprawl out of it but Fair keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Malakoso manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fair keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Malakoso. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malakoso, as that shot connected.

Fair takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Malakoso works over Fair's head and body with a nice combination. Malakoso misses with a shot to the body
and Fair counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fair trying to control the position from guard on top but Malakoso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dwayne Fair showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Malakoso's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

so Fair counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Malakoso wants to stand and escape but Fair is having none of it. Fair trying to control but Malakoso is working from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Fair's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Malakoso is working an open guard so Fair takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Malakoso loads up on a big right hand but Fair slips the punch. Malakoso throws a series of punches but Fair moves out of range. Malakoso tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fair swats him away and circles back towards the center. Malakoso stuns Fair with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Fair tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Malakoso just stands there and leans against the ropes. Malakoso lands a nice shot to the body. A head punch on the inside from Malakoso fails to land. Malakoso has a couple of punches blocked by Fair.

Fair pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Malakoso bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fair's head. Douche fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Douche throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Douche rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holmes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Douche!

Douche bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Holmes's head backwards. Holmes is looking to clinch but Douche is avoiding it.

Holmes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Douche did well to prevent Holmes getting side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Douche kicks off Holmes and gets to his feet. Douche throws a low kick but Holmes avoids it. Good exchange - Douche coming out on top. A chopping leg kick lands by Holmes. Douche with a body punch. A glancing blow. Douche swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Douche lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Douche looks gassed!

Holmes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Douche napping and manages to drive through into side control! Holmes tries to stand but Douche is controlling his head. Holmes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Douche keeps working. Douche tries to improve position but can't.
Holmes has an Americana. Douche didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Holmes is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Holmes hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Pierre gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Pierre is looking for a sweep. West is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pierre is staying active underneath West, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pierre is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of West's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take West's back! Pierre throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Pierre avoiding West 's attempts to control his hands.

Deano West showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

West throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pierre was covering up waiting for the punch and West finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pierre keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. West passes Pierre's left leg - he's now in half guard. West trying to pass the guard but Pierre defending well. West is keen to just control but Pierre is a slippery customer. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pierre is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of West's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take West's back!
Pierre is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged West with him. West is trying to defend but Pierre has an arm under the chin now! West grimaces and is forced to tap out!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith fails to land the takedown. Smith fails with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Dostoyevski. Danny Dostoyevski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Smith. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith. Smith shoots for a takedown but Dostoyevski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dostoyevski throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range. Dostoyevski throws a head kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dostoyevski swivels and escapes.
Dostoyevski lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Dostoyevski takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 It looks like Jamie Smith has been cut. A good leg kick by Dostoyevski. Smith looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dostoyevski lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Smith crumples to the floor! Dostoyevski milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
