 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camozi scores with a body shot.
Camozi lands with a right hand. Cuchillero takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Cuchillero tries for a takedown but Camozi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Cuchillero tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camozi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cuchillero somewhat. Camozi connects with a nice cross there... Cuchillero is looking wobbly and Camozi recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Cuchillero to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Camozi jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James darts in and clinches Marshall up against the cage. Marshall keeps the fight in the clinch, despite James's efforts to push away. Marshall landing knees to the head.
 It looks like Yatzhee James has been cut. Marshall landing some nice looking knees to the body.
James is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Come on Marshall - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Marshall lands an elbow just above James 's eye. Marshall with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marshall has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Marshall. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Marshall tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. James just stands there and leans against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James prevents the takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yatzhee James will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Yatzhee James's cut. That's time!  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strelcov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Houston circles away quickly and effectively. Donk. Strelcov catches Houston right on the button with a cross. Strelcov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Houston throws a left that rocks Strelcov and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Houston dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Strelcov regain composure!
 Strelcov is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Houston sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Strelcov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Oh Strelcov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Houston scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Strelcov to see if he's OK. The crowd goes nuts as Houston knocks Strelcov out cold with a massive hammerfist! Houston Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Hughes gets caught flat footed, as Jnr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jnr is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hughes has momentary wrist control but Jnr slips an elbow through the middle. Jnr is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hughes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jnr.
Jnr has gone for a leg lock! Hughes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jnr's guard. Jnr tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hughes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jnr looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hughes has picked Jnr up and slammed him! Jnr can't keep hold of the triangle and Hughes manages to pass to side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jnr regains half guard, as Hughes was trying to land strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes wants to stand but Jnr has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jnr manages to get to full guard.
Hughes won't allow Jnr to sweep him here. Jnr is pulling down on Hughes's head to control his posture. Hughes tries to stand but Jnr is controlling from the bottom.

Jnr pushes a forearm under Hughes's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hughes is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Crasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zander Freyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freyer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Milquetoast by Helmet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Johnny Crasher had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Zander Freyer has the eye of the tiger tonight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Freyer coming out on top. Crasher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Freyer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Freyer throws a nice outside leg kick. Freyer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Crasher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freyer moves away. Freyer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Crasher is breathing heavily.
Freyer cracks Crasher with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Freyer has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Crasher to stand back up!
 Crasher is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crasher is aggressively charging in as Freyer backs up avoiding any damage. Freyer tosses out a jab and Crasher runs right into it face first! Crasher is out cold! Freyer dropped down on all fours and is barking in Crasher's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Beckford definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Goldstein tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Beckford counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Goldstein tries to clinch but fails miserably and Beckford counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Goldstein thinking. Goldstein looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Beckford takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Goldstein fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Beckford avoids it really well and circles away. Jermaine Beckford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Goldstein. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beckford throws a good cross that connects.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lovric shoots in but no luck this time. Carruthers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lovric lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Lovric ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Carruthers tries to clinch up and Lovric counters with a right hand to the body. Carruthers fails in his attempt to clinch. Lovric misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lovric keeps the fight on the outside. Carruthers takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jimmy Carruthers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lovric scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
 It looks like Jimmy Carruthers has been cut. Carruthers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carruthers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Planck! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Ben Hemmingworth.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Down steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Planck. Kendrik Down seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Planck throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Down looks to score with a jab to the body but Planck is just out of range. Down looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Down just misses with a punch to the body.
Down loads up on a big right hand but Planck slips the punch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Planck tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Down swivels and escapes. Planck throws a good cross that connects.
Down misses with a wild body shot. Down moves out of range as Planck strikes. Planck tries to clinch but Down is having none of it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Planck looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Planck misses the shot to the body. Planck throws a lazy right hand but Down sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Down avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kendrik Down is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Planck throws a shot from downtown. Down moves away and avoids it. Planck slips a jab from Down. Planck avoids the body shot from Down.

and Down counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Down misses the shot to the body. Planck defending well as Down loads up on a big left hand. Down misses with a hook. Planck ducked under it nicely.
Planck closes the distance and clinches.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Down is trying to force a seperation but Planck has the dominant position.
Down breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Planck takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A swing and a miss from Down. Planck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Down sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Planck is looking to clinch. Planck shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kendrik Down has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Planck. Nice shot lands for Planck. Planck misses with a straight left.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Down takes a swing at Planck's ribcage but misses. Down throws a big shot that misses. Planck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Down but Down pushes him off and we're back to square one. Planck goes for a double leg but Down avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Down continues to drive forward.
Down breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Planck might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Planck on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Down misses with a straight left. Down uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Planck.

Down lands with a good body shot. Planck throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Planck tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Down manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Planck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Down's waist but Down gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Planck off to one side. A big right from Planck misses. Down misses with a wild body shot. Down misses with a straight left. Down swings widly with a right hand
and Planck decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Down's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Planck trying to control but Down is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Planck is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Down is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Planck slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Down is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Down seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Planck does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Down connects with a nice short shot to Planck's temple. Planck controlling the position for now. Planck tries to get to full guard but Down has control of the leg.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Down seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Planck works his way to full guard. Good work. Down loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Planck might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Down haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Down postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Planck trying to keep a closed guard but Down is proving a slippery customer.
Down throws an elbow that misses. Planck uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Down's guard. Nice move by Planck!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Planck wants to control from the top but Down keeps moving. Planck won't allow Down to get back to his feet. Planck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Down swivels though and keeps the full guard. Down keeping moving, preventing Planck from controlling successfully.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Max Planck was stalling too much, according to the referee. Planck moves out of range as Down strikes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Planck misses with a looping left. Planck has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Planck slips under a jab. A jab from Down misses. Down throws a looping overhand right but Planck ducks down to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Down. Planck fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Down throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Planck takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Planck uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Down.

Down catches Planck with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Down misses with a left hand and Planck counters with a straight right hand. and Down cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Planck has a takedown stuffed. Planck moves away from the strike by Down.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Down misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Planck.
Planck fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kendrik Down has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Planck. Planck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Down misses with an uppercut. Down throws a jab but it's blocked by Planck. Planck moves in looking to clinch but Down pushes him off. Good exchange - Down coming out on top.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Down tests Planck's chin there with a solid looking shot. Down throws a predictable looking body shot
and Planck counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Planck keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Planck wants to clinch up but Down keeps it at a distance. Down looks to land a left hand but Planck moved out of range nicely.

and Planck decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Down's guard. Down working a defensive guard here.
Down preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Planck trying to control the position from guard on top but Down is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Planck passes into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Down is refusing to be controlled, as Planck sits in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Down is trying to stand up here but Planck is controlling him well. Planck not doing much here.
