The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spasov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side. King stuffs the takedown. Spasov is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Spasov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spasov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. King shoots in and bounces Spasov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Daniels! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels shoots and misses and Centura counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Centura. Daniels looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Centura landing with the ground and pound. Centura lands a couple of elbows. Centura postures up and lands a big shot to Daniels's brow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Centura gets to his feet and stands over Daniels, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Daniels felt that one! Centura unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Daniels from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Distor Centura! A very excited looking Distor Centura rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Clifford tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Clifford closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Clifford looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Clifford wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy. Smith has one of Clifford's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Smith tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Clifford wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Toby Clifford will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Clifford is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Smith has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Clifford is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clifford is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Smith sees it coming and defends easily. Clifford wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working. Smith is trying to get back to full guard.

Smith is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Smith moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Smith is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Clifford has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clifford manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith drops back, looking for a kneebar! Clifford looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Clifford looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Clifford! Smith can't do much from the bottom here. Smith tries to improve position but can't. Clifford is looking to take a break and control but Smith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've been informed that Smith has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corderer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pasaltha to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Corderer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pasaltha. Pasaltha with a flurry of punches that miss. Corderer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Pasaltha keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Corderer's head. Corderer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pasaltha with a flurry of punches that miss. Pasaltha postures up in Corderer's guard and throws a big left but Corderer blocks it. Pasaltha makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Pasaltha working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Corderer's head. Corderer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pasaltha shoots in for a double leg but Corderer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Corderer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pasaltha to the mat! Pasaltha manages to get full guard. Corderer trying to control but Pasaltha is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pasaltha can do anything to dispel that myth. Pasaltha preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Corderer trying to control the position from guard on top but Pasaltha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pasaltha is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pasaltha looking for a guillotine here but Corderer defends easily.

Olias Pasaltha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Corderer stands and steps away. Pasaltha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pasaltha takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Corderer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Pasaltha shoots for a double leg takedown but Corderer sprawls well. He's pushed Pasaltha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Corderer jabs Pasaltha to the body, keeping him at a distance. Corderer works over Pasaltha's head and body with a nice combination. Pasaltha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Corderer is fending him off so far but Pasaltha persists. Nope, Corderer circles away and we're back to standing. Corderer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pasaltha is pressing down on Corderer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Pasaltha wants to get back to his feet but Corderer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pasaltha is looking to finish with some ground and pound! You can see the frustration on Corderer's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Ax misses. Ax looks to land a combination but Faber avoids it well. Ax clinches up against the cage. Faber pulls Ax into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Faber has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ax has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Faber wriggles free and stands up. Ax tries to clinch but Faber moves out of range. Faber throws a series of punches but Ax moves out of range. Faber manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ax on his heels. He'll look to pass Ax's guard now, I'm sure. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Faber cracks Ax with a solid left hand. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Faber working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Ax is squirming around, avoiding Faber's attempts to control the action. Ax tries to lock up and control but Faber gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ax is breathing heavily. Ax really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Faber postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ax looks a forlorn figure.
Ax has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Faber working for a submission but Ax is keeping him at bay. Faber lands a couple of good shots and Ax has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Ax is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Lang. Lang looks to land a left hand but Lesnoe moved out of range nicely. A punch lands to the side of Lesnoe 's head but he takes it in his stride. Lang throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lesnoe. Lang throws a lazy right hand but Lesnoe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Lang instigates a clinch. Lang is looking for a takedown. Lang is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lesnoe lands on the inside with an uppercut. We've been informed that Lesnoe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Lang can't find room to land a body shot as Lesnoe controls the action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lesnoe is sitting in close to Lang's body. Lang has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lesnoe is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lesnoe is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lang.

David Lang made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I figured this would be a great fight. Definitely my biggest challenge so far and With this win I know Im getting closer to taking the next step in my career.
