The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horila checks the leg kick nicely there.
Vargas feints a jab promting Horila to slip. Vargas then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Horila slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Anselmi Horila has been cut.
Vargas paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Moore lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Beast backs up against the cage.
Moore comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Beast tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moore defends well and Beast ends up having to push Moore into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Beast's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Moore connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beast scrambles back to his feet.

Beast seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moore does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Beast is looking for a kimura but Moore is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Beast to get the leverage.
Beast is trying to control. Moore wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Moore is staying active underneath Beast, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Beast is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Moore looks calm but he's in trouble here. Beast gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Moore is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Beast lets go of the hold and Moore can pop his arm back in it's socket.
