Taveras misses with an uppercut. Castile saw that one coming.
Castile slips a straight right by Taveras.

Taveras tries to bum rush Castile with a series of wild strikes but Castile uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Castile swings for the body but Taveras moves out of range.
Castile lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Castile.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gherobane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lodbrok moves away.
Lodbrok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gherobane throws a shot from downtown. Lodbrok moves away and avoids it.
Lodbrok moves out of range as Gherobane strikes.
Gherobane clobbers Lodbrok with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Ragnar Lodbrok has been cut.
Lodbrok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gherobane sprawls well. Gherobane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lodbrok gets slowly back to his feet.
Lodbrok tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gherobane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lodbrok somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragnar Lodbrok. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Paulo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Paulo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kure tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kure needs to keep his hands up - Paulo had a free shot at his head there.
Kure changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paulo tries to avoid it but Kure manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paulo to the ground. Paulo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Paulo throws a sloppy head kick and Kure moves out of range easily.
Paulo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kure shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paulo looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Paulo backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Kure's temple! It sends Kure violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Paulo celebrates and the doctors try to help Kure!
