The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick goes for a double leg but Rikkonen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rikkonen continues to drive forward.
Dick is trying to drag Rikkonen to the mat but Rikkonen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Rikkonen breaks from the clinch.

Dick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dick showed some decent athleticism there.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dick connects with a nice short shot to Rikkonen's temple.
