The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zayats slaps away a takedown attempt from Cobey, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cobey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zayats looks to land a combination but Cobey avoids it well. Zayats throws a low kick, looking for Cobey's leg but Cobey calmly moves out of range. Zayats blocks a head kick by Cobey.
Zayats has closed the distance and engaged Cobey in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zayats is controlling Cobey's posture. Cobey working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Cobey misses with a takedown attempt enabling Zayats to counter with a crisp jab. Zayats closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Zayats has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cobey clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Alexey Zayats overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Cobey trying to control the hands but Zayats breaks the grip. Cobey is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Zayats's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Zayats is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Cobey with him. Cobey is trying to defend but Zayats has an arm under the chin now! Cobey grimaces and is forced to tap out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor scores with a jab. Taylor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Buentello on the side of the head. Buentello darts in and clinches Taylor up against the cage. Buentello is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Taylor pulls him back up using the underhooks. Buentello tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taylor smiles and moves away.
Taylor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Buentello takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Buentello takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Buentello shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Buentello's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tim Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yanhi Buentello. Taylor swats away the attempt to clinch by Buentello. Good shot there by Taylor. Buentello takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Yanhi Buentello has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Buentello drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Buentello takes a swing at Taylor's ribcage but misses. Taylor dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Buentello tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Taylor scores with a body shot.

Buentello on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A left lands for Taylor. Taylor connects with a good right hand that stumbles Buentello. Buentello circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Taylor lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Taylor is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Taylor lands a left and a right that send Buentello crashing to the mat, dazed. Taylor thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Buentello is rocked! Taylor lands with a right and another and another! Buentello is in big trouble! Taylor lands again and this time it's lights out for Buentello! A quality knockout there for Taylor.

Kalonji wants to sweep but no luck. Kalonji keeping moving, preventing Inakmas from controlling successfully. Inakmas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Inakmas looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Inakmas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

No, Inakmas has managed to get both his arms back between Kalonji's legs - danger averted. Inakmas controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inakmas wants to pass the guard but Kalonji is keeping the position. Inakmas trying to control but Kalonji is working from the bottom. Kalonji wants to stand but Inakmas is controlling the position. Inakmas gets to his feet. Kalonji looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. The fight stays on the outside here - Inakmas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kalonji throws a sloppy head kick and Inakmas counters by clinching up.

Inakmas is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kalonji is keeping busy. A battle for position here, against the cage. Kalonji tries to land knees in the clinch but Inakmas avoids the damage to the body. Kalonji letting Inakmas take a breather here. Inakmas wants to stall.
Inakmas gets through Kalonji's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kalonji misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Inakmas.

Inakmas misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Inakmas has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koscheck moves in looking to clinch but Swaver pushes him off. Swaver scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Swaver working the head with strikes. Koscheck manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Koscheck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Swaver pushes Koscheck off looking to stand but Koscheck dives back in and keeps control.
Koscheck sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Swaver defending well though. Swaver is not content to let Koscheck control the position. Koscheck thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Swaver's head. Koscheck is looking to take a break and control but Swaver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Koscheck throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Koscheck will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Josjdam looks to land a left hand but Timmy moved out of range nicely. Timmy closes the distance and clinches up with Josjdam, looking for a takedown. Timmy pushes Josjdam against the cage but Josjdam circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Josjdam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Timmy. Timmy throws a wild body kick that Josjdam sees coming a mile off. Josjdam with a nice cross. Josjdam cracks Timmy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Josjdam lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Timmy backs up against the cage.
Josjdam scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Iceice Timmy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Timmy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Timmy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Josjdam regains guard immediately. Josjdam is looking to stand up but Timmy isn't so interested in that idea.
And that's the end of the fight! Karo Josjdam showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Josjdam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? It looks like Fernandinho BeatBox has been cut. Cullen drives through and clinches with BeatBox against the cage.
BeatBox jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cullen walks away with a smile on his face. BeatBox gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. BeatBox takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Cullen lands a nice shot to the body.

BeatBox is rocked! BeatBox loses concentration momentarily and Cullen pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! BeatBox crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Cullen finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Zabuza is trying to stand up here but Cesar is controlling him well. Zabuza is trying is best to control the position here. Cesar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zabuza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cesar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Zabuza moves into full guard.

The strikes coming from Cesar are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Cesar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cesar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zabuza is aware though and is defending well. Cesar is breathing heavily. Zabuza stands up from Cesar's guard - Zabuza perhaps looking for a knockout. Zabuza lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Zabuza holding both Cesar 's hands and preventing any damage. Marcelo Cesar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cesar is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Zabuza up.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Devan Dumes! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dumes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dumes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ashburn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dumes somewhat. A head kick misses from Ashburn. Dumes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ashburn but Ashburn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ashburn throws a head kick that misses. Ashburn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ashburn goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dumes doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ashburn counters with a good, hard body kick but Dumes shrugs it off. Cal Ashburn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devan Dumes. Ashburn's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ashburn duly obliges. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Dumes might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Ashburn has got the better of the exchanges. Ashburn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Dumes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ashburn lands with a cross.

Dumes has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Ashburn lands with a hook. Dumes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Dumes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dumes is backing up but Ashburn catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Dumes covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ashburn Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
