The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chulainn clinches up with Gold and pushes him back against the cage.
Gold is trying to break the clinch but Chulainn is controlling him.
Gold wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chulainn has him pressed against the cage.
Chulainn prevents Gold from breaking the clinch.
Chulainn is trying to pull guard but Gold turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gold is trying to push Chulainn away but Chulainn has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Chulainn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gold's efforts to push away.

Chulainn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gold fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chulainn.
Gold fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chulainn checks it well.

Chulainn shoots in and bounces Atom off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chulainn with a flurry of punches that miss.

Fortisimo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fortisimo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Walls paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fortisimo catches Walls with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Walls misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortisimo.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walls is defended easily by Fortisimo.

Walls has Fortisimo up against the cage in a clinch.
Fortisimo is struggling to control the position.
Walls is trying to drag Fortisimo to the mat but Fortisimo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Walls has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fortisimo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Zoro Fortisimo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Break Walls.
Fortisimo crunches a lovely knee into Walls's ribcage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fortisimo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Chulainn throws a nice looking combination but JeEs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chulainn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent JeEs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fighters circle, before Tamei throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bratislov's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Tamei lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
