Villasenor is trying to maintain the position but Chulainn is very close to passing his half guard. Coo Chulainn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chulainn looks to land a strike but Villasenor avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Bitchbing gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Struve to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bitchbing can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Struve controls the pace. Jake Struve has got the better of the ground game so far. Struve trying to control but Bitchbing is working from the bottom. Bitchbing pulls Struve in close to prevent any damage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Struve advances position into side control!

Struve might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bitchbing haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bitchbing is looking for a sweep.

Bitchbing is refusing to be controlled, as Struve sits in half guard. Struve missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Struve looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Struve. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Struve tries to pass to full mount but Bitchbing defends it. Bitchbing keeping hold of Struve's head, controlling as best he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Struve was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bitchbing looks to clinch and Struve counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Struve seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bitchbing does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Struve has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Bitchbing works to full guard. Bitchbing is trying to control the position but Struve postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Struve looking to sit in guard and control but Bitchbing gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bitchbing wants to stand but Struve is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rig is defended easily by Django. Nice uppercut there from Django. Rig wants to clinch up but Django keeps it at a distance. Django gets caught flat footed, as Rig shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Rig looking to sit in guard and control but Django gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rig told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Rig throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Django escapes and throws Rig's legs to the side, diving into side control! Rig is trying to work for a sweep but Django has mounted him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rig manages to regain half guard. Good work. Rig tries to get to full guard but Django has control of the leg. Django stands up out of the half guard. Big Rig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rig shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Django but Django pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rig throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Django tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rig is in Django's guard. Django preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rig postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rig drops back, looking for a kneebar! Django looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Django looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Django! Rig looking for a sweep but Django has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Rig is looking to improve his position but Django isn't that keen on the idea. Django can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rig is looking to escape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Rig dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Django sneaks out the side door and pushes Rig away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. The fighters circle momentarily. Django darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rig wants to clinch up but Django keeps it at a distance. Rig fails to land the takedown. Django really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rig tries to score a power double leg takedown but Django sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rig somewhat. Nice takedown defense from Django. No joy for Rig on that attempt. Muza Django has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Rig.

Django feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rigs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Muza Django is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rig tries to close the distance and clinch but Django swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Now he's in top in Rig's guard. Django wants to stand and escape but instead Rig has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rig stands up from guard. Let's bang! Rig misses with a takedown attempt - Django sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rig misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rig shoots for a takedown but Django saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rig is breathing heavily. Django scores with a decent looking hook. Rig shoots and misses and Django counters with a stiff right hand. No luck for Rig with that takedown attempt. Rig with a poor takedown and Django counters with a left and a right that stings Rig. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A left lands for Django. Django moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rig fails with a takedown attempt. Django lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chandler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luciano as he jumps to the side. Chandler shoots in and bounces Luciano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Luciano keeping full guard, as Chandler tries to pass. Chandler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Luciano is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Luciano has escaped and now he's on top! Chandler is trying to keep Luciano in close.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamoth jabs Belliveau to the body, keeping him at a distance. Yamoth misses with a left hand and Belliveau connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Belliveau getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Yamoth wants to clinch. Belliveau looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Yamoth doesn't manage to clinch there - Belliveau circles away.

Belliveau scores with a crisp jab that stopped Yamoth in his tracks. Belliveau feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yamoths jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Yamoth is rocked! Belliveau dances in with a quick combination. Yamoth is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Belliveau snaps Yamoth's head back. Yamoth stumbles backwards against the cage. Belliveau steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Yamoth's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Yamoth just didn't come prepared.
