Excellent takedown into side control there by Abreu. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Petrasek dodges the ground and pound from Abreu. Abreu has hold of Petrasek's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Petrasek seems comfortable defending it but Abreu has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Petrasek is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Petrasek is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Abreu couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The fighters roll with the hold and Kuivanen manages to kick Dunham off! Dunham jumps back into Kuivanen's guard. Dunham sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kuivanen's guard. Dunham has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kuivanen defend it? Dunham steps over the head and cranks it - Kuivanen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dunham!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dileno Carneiro. Well Maisumov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Da Gaucho works his way back into a safe position though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Garcia can do anything to dispel that myth. Da Gaucho trying to control the position from guard on top but Garcia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da Gaucho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
