Kill drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shafer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shafer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shafer!
Kill is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Kill is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Shafer pulls his head out easily.
Kill makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kill.
Shafer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kill is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shafer defends well.

Kill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shafer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Shafer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kill is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Shafer has his hands clasped together but Kill extends and breaks Shafer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kill.
