On his way into the cage it seems that Praying Mantis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Praying Mantis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Praying Mantis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Don Don! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mantis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Don throws out a loose jab but Mantis uses good head movement to avoid it. Don throws a looping overhand right but Mantis ducks down to avoid it. Mantis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A combination from Mantis does no damage. Don misses with a hook. Mantis ducked under it nicely. Mantis slips under a jab. Mantis throws a shot from downtown. Don moves away and avoids it. Don throws a big shot that misses. Don works the jab nicely. Don misses with a hook. Don lands an overhand right. Mantis moves into the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Still in the clinch, Mantis scores with a nice short uppercut. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mantis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Nice body punch from Mantis. Mantis manages to break the clinch.
Mantis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Don stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Don looks to score with a jab to the body but Mantis is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Mantis. Don swings widly with a right hand
and Mantis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A jab from Mantis finds it's way through Don's defenses.
Don is rocked! Don defending well as Mantis loads up on a big left hand. Don is still on wobbly legs! Can Mantis finish him? Mantis drives through and clinches with Don against the cage.
A short right from Mantis. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice left hand lands by Mantis.
Don wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mantis has him pressed against the cage. Mantis drops Don onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Don is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Mantis lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Don to his knees! Mantis keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Praying Mantis! Praying Mantis thanked the fans post fight for their support.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Over misses with the combination.
Over doesn't manage to clinch there - Yap circles away.
Over shoots in looking for a takedown. Yap tries to sprawl out of it but Over keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yap manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yap slips under a jab from Over. Over dodges the punch combination from Yap.
Over scores with a shot to the body.
Over tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Over tries to clinch up but Yap circles away and keeps his distance. Over looks for a takedown but Yap sprawls well. Over has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A left and a right from Yap both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Game Over has been cut. Yap scores with a jab to the head.
Yap throws a series of punches but Over moves out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Over. Jay Yap has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Game Over. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yap scores with a hook to the body. Over takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Yap steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Over. Over closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yap quickly recovers to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yap regains full guard. Nicely done. Over controlling from the top position. Over trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Over trying to control but Yap is working from the bottom. Yap is trying to keep Over in close.
Yap wants to stand but Over is controlling the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Over passes Yap's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Over landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Game Over seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Over tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yap swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Game Over dominated that round. The cut man is working on Game Over's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Yap throws a hook to the side of Over's head but Over sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Over fails in his attempt to clinch. Yap ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Over moves away. Over fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Over tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Over gets a takedown into half guard. Over is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yap is just riding it out for now. Over eventually gives up the hold. Over is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yap is refusing to be controlled, as Over sits in half guard. Yap keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Over is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Yap reverses the position - he's now on top in Over's guard. Yap trying to control but Over is working from the bottom. Over pushes Yap off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Yap scores with a body shot.
Yap connects with a combination that backs up Over into the cage. Yap lands a flurry of punches that gets past Over's guard. Over is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Yap bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Yap! A relieved looking Jay Yap thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco with a poor takedown and Van Buren counters with a nice uppercut. Franco looks for a takedown but Van Buren sprawls well. A nice combination there by Van Buren.

Franco is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Franco dives in and grabs Van Buren's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Buren pushes down on Franco's head and hops out. Oh Franco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Franco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Franco shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Van Buren counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Franco off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Van Buren follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Franco was out before he hit the floor.

and Ketrzynski counters with a head kick. Ketrzynski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Otsuka throws a series of punches but Ketrzynski avoids them all with ease. Otsuka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ketrzynski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Otsuka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ketrzynski. That did some damage! Otsuka pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dsafdsfqw on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Olynyk connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dsafdsfqw's hands.
It looks like Qwewetgtfsdr Dsafdsfqw has been cut. Dsafdsfqw looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Olynyk is fending him off so far but Dsafdsfqw persists. Nope, Olynyk circles away and we're back to standing. Olynyk scores with a jab to the jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Olynyk lands with a nice body kick. Dsafdsfqw looks winded! Dsafdsfqw chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Olynyk can pounce on him.

Vari manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Good leg kick by Vari there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sprinkles looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sprinkles stands up over Mars, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sprinkles slips nicely into half guard. Sprinkles throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sprinkles working over Mars with some ground and pound. Mars looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Sprinkles seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mars does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sprinkles sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mars defending well though. Sprinkles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mars keeps working.

It looks like Vincent Mars has been cut. Mars tries to lock up and control but Sprinkles gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sprinkles is in the full mount, landing strikes. Sprinkles throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Wait, no, Mars rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sprinkles's guard! Nice work there by Mars! Sprinkles trying to control the position.

Sprinkles fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mars manages to avoid it. Sprinkles looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sprinkles throws a combination that misses and Mars counters with a nice kick to the body. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mars.
Vincent Mars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mars takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mars tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mars throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A looping hook to the body misses from Sprinkles. Mars does a little dance to reset his feet. Sprinkles takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sprinkles stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mars. Jab, jab by Mars - just one landing. Sprinkles shoots for a double leg takedown but Mars sprawls well. He's pushed Sprinkles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sprinkles tries to move into range but Mars moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Mars throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sprinkles on the side of the head.

Mars is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Sprinkles lands with a nice body punch. Mars darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sprinkles connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Mars throws a body kick that misses. A kick lands to the mid section there for Mars. Mars jabs Sprinkles right on the nose. Sprinkles blinks but takes it well. Sprinkles thuds a left hand into Mars's body. The fighters circling - Sprinkles throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sprinkles takes a shot right to the bread basket. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sprinkles uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mars.

Vincent Mars is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sprinkles takes a jab right on the kisser.
Mars wants to clinch. Sprinkles misses with a takedown attempt - Mars sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mars pushes Sprinkles back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacioretty misses with a wild body shot. Pacioretty loads up on a big right hand but Austin slips the punch. No joy there for Pacioretty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pacioretty goes for a double leg but Austin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Austin continues to drive forward. Austin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pacioretty drops down looking for an ankle pick but Austin pulls his leg out and moves away.
