 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Timmermans lands with a kick to the temple. Hamerson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
 It looks like Hammy Hamerson has been cut. Timmermans misses with a wild combination.
Hamerson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Timmermans is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Hamerson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hamerson is breathing heavily. Timmermans tries to escape but Hamerson is in control. Timmermans felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Hammy Hamerson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hammy Hamerson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hamerson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sloppy strikes there by Hamerson. Timmermans sneaks out the side door and pushes Hamerson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Timmermans throws a nice looking combination but Hamerson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hamerson tries to clinch but Timmermans moves out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Timmermans shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hamerson but Hamerson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Timmermans misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamerson tries to free his leg and advance position but Timmermans is retaining full guard. Timmermans keeping moving, preventing Hamerson from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Timmermans feints a jab promting Hamerson to slip. Timmermans then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hamerson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Timmermans lands with an uppercut that bounces Hamerson off the cage and back into range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Timmermans misses with a head kick.

Bam Timmermans has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hamerson darts in looking for a takedown but Timmermans gets double underhooks and turns Hamerson into the cage. Hamerson has had enough of the clinch but Timmermans keeps him there for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Derpens swings wildly with an uppercut but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it. Derpens lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Derpens misses with a hook from the clinch. Gracie is trying to drag Derpens to the mat but Derpens just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Derpens tries to land a knee to the head but Gracie blocks with his arms.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Vanzetti throws a series of punches but Kennedy avoids them all with ease. Kennedy throws a hook to the side of Vanzetti's head but Vanzetti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kennedy misses with a hook. Vanzetti ducked under it nicely. Vanzetti throws out a loose jab but Kennedy uses good head movement to avoid it. Vanzetti throws a right and a left that both miss. Kennedy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kennedy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Kennedy misses with a short punch on the inside. Vanzetti presses Kennedy against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Vanzetti stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Still in the clinch, Vanzetti scores with a nice short uppercut.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Philips lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Armstrong circles away quickly and effectively. Philips throws the left hand but Armstrong avoids the punch easily. Armstrong throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Armstrong throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Philips throws a big shot that misses. Philips throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Armstrong sees it coming and avoids it easily. Philips misses with a double jab.

Toron bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Toron tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Toron sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Home is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cortez trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Vieira is working for a guillotine from mount but Cortez frees his head quite easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vieira working for a submission but Cortez is keeping him at bay.
Vieira working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Vieira is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cortez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Cortez is desperately trying to improve his position but Vieira has a good base and remains in mount. Cortez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vieira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cortez turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Vieira off and cradles Cortez's limp body as Vieira celebrates with his corner.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNash moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dandy throws out a loose jab but McNash uses good head movement to avoid it. McNash explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Dandy looks to land a combination but McNash avoids it well. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McNash.
Dandy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. McNash throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McNash closes the distance and clinches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McNash comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Dandy breaks from the clinch.
McNash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McNash stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
 It looks like Jim Dandy has been cut. Dandy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and McNash makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dandy really felt that one! Murdoch McNash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dandy is breathing heavily. McNash throws a right hand that Dandy ducks under and follows up with a left that Dandy also avoids with ease. McNash is looking to slow Dandy down with leg kicks. McNash connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. McNash ducks under a wild hook from Dandy. Dandy slips a jab and a cross from McNash.
McNash connects with a right hand. Dandy shakes it off.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McNash uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dandy. Good leg kick by McNash there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dandy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. McNash is looking to slow Dandy down with leg kicks. McNash lands a two punch combo.
McNash has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McNash with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McNash lands a brutal head kick. Dandy looks out on his feet and McNash throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Jesus throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jesus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thomas throws a head kick that half lands.

They clinched Kenny! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Thomas throws a nice head kick!

 Thomas is rocked! Jesus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jesus wobbles Thomas with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Jesus dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Thomas to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
