The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jass throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rozalski was covering up waiting for the punch and Jass finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jass trying to control but Rozalski is working from the bottom. Jass drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jass seems to have locked his on tight now - Rozalski screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jass, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero throws a jab but it's blocked by Cuban. Romero misses the jab. Cuban shoots for a double leg takedown but Romero sprawls well. He's pushed Cuban's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cuban tries to move into range but Romero moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Pete Cuban has been cut. Cuban closes the distance and clinches. Cuban has clasped his hands together around Romero's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Cuban is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Romero has escaped the position, nice work there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cuban is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Romero's shoulder. That is not cool. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grave misses with a series of wild punches.
Grave uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Antonio Redondo has been cut. Redondo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grave.

Santana tries to clinch but Rak moves away and Rak rattles Santana with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Santana tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Rak dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Santana stiff and motionless on the mat!

Floyd misses with a low kick. Caro's coach down at Facebreaker Academy : Striking was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Caro's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Caro scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Caro misses the shot to the body. Floyd's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Caro connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Floyd scrambles back to his feet. Caro jabbing away but nothing is landing. Caro scores with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Floyd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Caro. Caro lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Caro throws a right hand that misses
and Floyd counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Floyd swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Caro counters with a crisp right that sends Floyd to the canvas! Caro follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

It looks like Joeseph Moai has been cut. Moai wants to get back to striking at distance but Lewis won't allow it.

Moai is trying to force a seperation but Lewis has the dominant position. Lewis leaning his opponent against the cage. Lewis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moai regains guard immediately. Lewis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Moai seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Lewis won't allow Moai to sweep him here. Lewis lands with a short head shot on the inside. Lewis lands a nice uppercut. Moai working hard to break the clinch. Moai digs a right hand into Lewis's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lewis's gas tank.

Lewis lands a hook that snaps the head of Moai backwards. Moai on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lewis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lewis rushes Moai and presses him up against the cage. Moai stalls. Lewis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Moai has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lewis uses from the top position. Lewis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Moai's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Moai wants to improve his position but Lewis is controlling well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hugo Lewis was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lewis wants to clinch but Moai slips to the side and Moai counters with a big head kick but Lewis shrugs it off. Lewis instigates a clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Moai wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lewis has him pressed against the cage. Nice body punch from Lewis - that landed with a thud.
Moai is trying to push Lewis away but Lewis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Moai is trying to maintain a safe position but Lewis gets an underhook and turns Moai into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hugo Lewis dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joeseph Moai's cut. That's time! Moai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lewis lands a left and a right that sends Moai crashing to the canvas! Lewis dives into mount looking to finish!
Moai is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lewis controlling his opponent. Oh Moai is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lewis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moai takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Lewis's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Castellano drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Castellano working the ground and pound but Gonzalez is defending the strikes. Castellano tries for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending well. Castellano is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gonzalez has escaped the position, nice work there. Castellano works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Gonzalez told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Savage throws a looping overhand right but Mayo ducks down to avoid it. Savage's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mayo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Savage scrambles back to his feet. Mayo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mayo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Savage moves away. Mayo ducks under a wild hook from Savage. Savage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process.
