3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyrone Gibson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Beam has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gibson is working away from the top position though. Gibson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gibson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gibson is just content to waste time from the top position. Beam takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
