Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jorgunstone tries to free his leg and advance position but Panayotov is retaining full guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! West throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Jab throws a head kick that misses and West counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jab lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like James West has been cut. West lands with a slapping head kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from West. Jab tries to close the distance and clinch but West swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jab scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Jab misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

West is rocked! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. West has control of Jab's left arm, preventing Jab from doing any damage. Oh West is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. West seems to have got his legs back now.

Jab pushes West against the cage but West circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jab fails in his attempt to clinch. Jab looks to clinch and West counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by West. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jab tried to land a shot to the body but connects with West's elbow. Jab doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Unknown did well to prevent Goddie getting side control. Goddie trying to pass the guard but Unknown defending well. Goddie is controlling the pace.
