2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ahmet Sen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Greg Dellaria! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Sen misses. Dellaria throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dellaria shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sen sprawls well. Sen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dellaria gets slowly back to his feet. Dellaria goes for a double leg but Sen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sen continues to drive forward. I was talking to Sen's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Dellaria can't get the takedown.
Ahmet Sen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Dellaria. Dellaria misses with an elbow over the top. Dellaria has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dellaria has Sen pressed against the cage, preventing Sen from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Dellaria looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dellaria. Dellaria moves away from the strike by Sen. Dellaria tries to clinch but Sen moves out of range. Dellaria blocks a head kick by Sen.
Dellaria closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sen's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dellaria loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dellaria postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sen tries to get out of the position. Dellaria throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dellaria on the ground.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dellaria is looking to work some ground and pound but Sen has wrist control. Dellaria passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sen wants to get back to his feet. The strikes coming from Dellaria are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sen wants to get back to his feet. Sen holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Dellaria tries to advance to mount but can't. Dellaria landing a few strikes.

Sen is bucking up trying to escape but Dellaria cracks him with another couple of good strikes. A nice elbow there by Dellaria.  That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dellaria lands with some strikes. Dellaria content just to control the position here. Dellaria tries to control but Sen wriggling away. Dellaria thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Dellaria unloads with some shots from mount but Sen bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dellaria cracks Sen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dellaria is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Dellaria!

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nilsson lands with a nice combination. Timmermans backs away looking to recover. Timmermans avoids a punch combination nicely.

Nilsson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Timmermans's head backwards. Nilsson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Timmermans on the side of the head. Left hook, right uppercut from Nilsson.
 Timmermans is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nilsson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Timmermans is looking to close the distance but Nilsson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Timmermans crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Timmermans is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Konu leaves Rommel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rommel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Konu sprawls well. Konu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rommel gets slowly back to his feet. Konu throws a low kick but Rommel avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Konu misses with a few strikes there.

Rommel tries to free his leg and advance position but Konu is retaining full guard. Konu is looking to stand back up but Rommel counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Konu. Rommel content to control rather than advance. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Seaworth throws a shot from downtown. Peggy moves away and avoids it. Peggy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Peggy. Seaworth thows a body shot but no joy. Seaworth misses with an uppercut. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Seaworth has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Peggy gets tackled into the cage by Seaworth. Seaworth maintains the clinch. Seaworth tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Seaworth is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Peggy can't fight it off and eventually Seaworth manages to take the fight to the floor. Peggy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Seaworth trying to control the position from guard on top but Peggy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Veenstra has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gunner clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Gunner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Veenstra.
Gunner works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Gunner controlling from the top position. Gunner throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Veenstra controls Gunner momentarily but Gunner frees himself.

 OK we're going to have a standup here. Pj Veenstra hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Veenstra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gunner is fending him off so far but Veenstra persists. Nope, Gunner circles away and we're back to standing.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bullwinkle. McCall throws a quick inside leg kick. Bullwinkle tries to bum rush McCall with a series of wild strikes but McCall uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McCall connects with a crisp jab. McCall throws the left hand but Bullwinkle avoids the punch easily. McCall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. McCall looks to throw the jab but Bullwinkle is out of range. McCall ducks under a wild hook from Bullwinkle. Bullwinkle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bullwinkle throws a looping overhand right but McCall ducks down to avoid it. McCall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

He's pushed Bullwinkle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bullwinkle seems to have got his legs back now. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bullwinkle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McCall - the referee stops the clock and Bullwinkle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McCall. Bullwinkle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. McCall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Both fighters circling a little - McCall finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. McCall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bullwinkle drops his hands momentarily and McCall takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. McCall drops Bullwinkle with a huge uppercut! Bullwinkle drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. McCall is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
