The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatam drives through with a takedown into Cupitmasha's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cupitmasha working a defensive guard here.

Tatam lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. You can see the frustration on Cupitmasha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tatam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cupitmasha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've been informed that Tatam has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Cupitmasha seems a little lost for a moment, as Tatam dominates the positioning. Cupitmasha is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cupitmasha is trying to escape the position but Tatam is controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cupitmasha is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tatam is one step ahead and moves to full mount! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cupitmasha sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Tatam controlling the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cupitmasha is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tatam is controlling him well. Cupitmasha manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hardham pushes down on Obasanjo's head and hops out. Hardham dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hardham wants to clinch. Obasanjo tries for a takedown but Hardham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hardham scores with a crisp jab that stopped Obasanjo in his tracks.
