26 - 19 - 1, fighting out of London, Mark Worsely! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Worsely keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Worsely tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Portugis was well out of range. Poor timing from Worsely. Raul Portugis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Worsely takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Worsely stuns Portugis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Good exchange - Worsely coming out on top. Portugis misses with a double jab.
Worsely fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Portugis manages to avoid it. Worsely dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Portugis. That did some damage! Worsely uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Worsely, as that shot connected.
Portugis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Portugis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Worsely throws a chopping leg kick but Portugis manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Worsely uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Portugis. Portugis thuds his right hand into Worsely's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Portugis attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worsely lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Portugis circles away quickly and effectively. Worsely feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Portugiss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! That kick from Worsely tenderised Portugis's leg. Portugis is trying to keep his angry face on. Portugis takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Portugis is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Worsely throws a low kick but Portugis avoids it. Portugis swings widly with a right hand
enabling Worsely to counter with a crisp jab. Worsely misses with a body shot.
Worsely is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Portugis had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Portugis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Worsely. That did some damage! Portugis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Portugis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Portugis misses with the ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Portugis working away. Portugis trying to control the position but Worsely is working away. Worsely tries to bench press Portugis off him but Portugis keeps the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Mark Worsely comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Worsely has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chief tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rassi throws a shot from downtown. Chief moves away and avoids it. Rassi looks to land a left hand but Chief moved out of range nicely. Chief misses with a head kick.

Nambara throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nambara wants to clinch. Lee checks the leg kick nicely there.

Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Lee works the jab nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Nezu Nambara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nambara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edwards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Faber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Edwards moves in looking to clinch but Faber pushes him off. Faber keeps the fight on the outside. Nice defenses there by Faber. Edwards throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Edwards takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. A head kick misses from Edwards. Edwards blocks a jab. A thudding body kick lands there by Faber!
Edwards connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Faber lands a nice shot that snaps Edwards's head back.

Faber fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Edwards has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A slapping leg kick lands for Faber.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Edwards throws a sloppy head kick and Faber moves out of range easily. Faber moves out of range as Edwards throws a body kick.

Goto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cerdan's efforts to push away. Cerdan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Goto throws a leg kick that misses. Goto slips under a jab from Cerdan. Goto connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cerdan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Cerdan connects with a nice looking jab.

Cerdan throws a leg kick that is checked and Goto counters with a good, hard body kick but Cerdan shrugs it off. Goto sizes up Cerdan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cerdan is rocked! Cerdan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goto was well out of range. Poor timing from Cerdan. Oh Cerdan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cerdan throws a big shot that misses. Goto cracks the inside of Cerdan's front leg. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Goto throws an overhand right that drops Cerdan like a sack of potatoes! Goto dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hunter scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hunter looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Junior is avoiding damage well.

That was a close round but I would say that Jay Hunter will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Junior is pressing down on Hunter's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hunter is holding on for now. Hunter tries to roll over but Junior keeps him under control. Hunter has hold of Junior's hands but Junior slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Junior performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Junior trying to control the action but Hunter is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Junior is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Hunter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Junior scores with a couple of nice shots. Hunter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Junior trying to control from Hunter's half guard. Hunter has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Junior throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Junior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hunter controls Junior momentarily but Junior frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Junior wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Junior looking to sit in guard and control but Hunter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hunter is looking to work some ground and pound but Junior has wrist control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Junior lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hunter! Junior dominating with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Junior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hunter is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Junior reverses the position - he's now on top in Hunter's guard. Hunter lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Junior! Junior wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hunter.
Junior in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunter throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jorge Junior. Well Junior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
