Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nguyen's entrance music is Vader - Sword of the Witcher. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nguyen tries to clinch up. Nguyen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Joseph pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joseph dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nguyen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nguyen. A head kick misses from Joseph. Joseph circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Nguyen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Joseph follows Nguyen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felterbush throws a lazy right hand but Piehole sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Felterbush looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Felterbush avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A head kick misses from Piehole. Felterbush uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Piehole has time to react. A solid leg kick lands there for Piehole.
Piehole throws a low kick, looking for Felterbush's leg but Felterbush calmly moves out of range. Felterbush moves out of range of the leg kick from Piehole. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Piehole defending well as Felterbush loads up on a big left hand. Piehole throws a head kick but Felterbush moves out of range.
Felterbush will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Piehole connects with a high kick.

Piehole will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Felterbush shoots in but Piehole avoids the takedown attempt easily. Felterbush stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Piehole. Piehole throws a sloppy head kick and Felterbush moves out of range easily. Felterbush is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Piehole slips a jab and a cross from Felterbush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Piehole manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Felterbush keeping control of the position. Felterbush wants to get back to full guard. Piehole slips a nice elbow through Felterbush's hands, connecting with Felterbush's forehead. Felterbush is trying to get back to full guard. Piehole thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Felterbush's head. Felterbush on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Felterbush tries to get out of the position. Piehole looks to land a strike but Felterbush avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Felterbush controlling the position. My spies in Montreal Elite Gym inform me that Piehole has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Piehole is looking to work some ground and pound but Felterbush has wrist control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Felterbush has control of Piehole's left arm, preventing Piehole from doing any damage. Piehole stands and steps away. Felterbush gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Felterbush misses with a straight right. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Felterbush just misses with a punch to the body.

Felterbush changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Piehole looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Felterbush misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Felterbush is looking to take a break and control but Piehole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Piehole's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Felterbush works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mu Yo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mu Yo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Zuckerkorn keeping moving, preventing Mu Yo from controlling successfully. Mu Yo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Zuckerkorn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zuckerkorn tries to control but Mu Yo wriggling away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zuckerkorn unloads with some shots from mount but Mu Yo bucks and avoids them well.

Chor Thanasukarn has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Delaney to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Chor Thanasukarn is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Delaney pulls down on the head and he's put Chor Thanasukarn to sleep! This one is all over!
