The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toyotomi slips under a jab from Setright. Toyotomi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Setright throws a head kick but Toyotomi moves out of range.
Toyotomi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Setright keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Setright fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Toyotomi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Setright misses with a straight right. A nice leg kick lands there from Setright. Toyotomi is looking to land body kicks. Setright throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Good leg kick by Toyotomi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Toyotomi shoots in but no luck this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Toyotomi misses with a low kick.
Toyotomi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Toyotomi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Setright throws a low kick but Toyotomi avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Setright closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Setright takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Setright trying to land knees to the body.
I was talking to Toyotomi's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Toyotomi tries to break the clinch but Setright is controlling the position. Setright landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Toyotomi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Setright fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Setright fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Toyotomi on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Setright dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Toyotomi. That did some damage! Setright on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Setright fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Toyotomi slips under a jab. Toyotomi thows a body kick. Setright tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Toyotomi. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hideyoshi Toyotomi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Setright tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Setright has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Toyotomi. Nice cross by Setright. Toyotomi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Toyotomi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Setright stuffs the takedown. Horrible takedown by Toyotomi or perhaps it was just good defense by Setright which made him look bad. Setright lands a big head kick that sends Toyotomi tumbling to the mat! Setright takes a step backwards and waves Toyotomi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hideyoshi Toyotomi has been cut. Setright takes a swing at Toyotomi's ribcage but misses. Toyotomi swings away with a leg kick that misses. Setright circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Toyotomi drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Setright follows Toyotomi to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xyz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Podmialka wants to get back to his feet.

Podmialka might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Xyz lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Podmialka wants to control but Xyz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Xyz tries to pass to full mount but Podmialka defends it. Podmialka is refusing to be controlled, as Xyz sits in half guard. Xyz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xyz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Podmialka's face.
Podmialka is bucking up trying to escape but Xyz cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Xyz looking to finish Podmialka with some ground and pound. This is bad for Podmialka! Xyz loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Podmialka scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Xyz land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Xyz stands and salutes the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greiner moves out of range of the body kick. Zaitev fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck for Greiner with that takedown attempt. Zaitev walks into a stiff left hand from Greiner.
It looks like Alexi Zaitev has been cut. Zaitev thows a body shot but no joy. Greiner moves out of range of the body kick. Greiner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zaitev regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Greiner.

That's gotta hurt. Alonso throws a nice looking combination but Lejonet bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lejonet misses with a body shot.

Alonso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Alonso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lejonet moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lejonet swings for the body but Alonso moves out of range.

Lejonet's jab looks to have found its range, popping Alonso under the eye. Lejonet drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Alonso throws a series of punches but Lejonet avoids them all with ease. No joy there for Lejonet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A frustrated look appears on Alonso's face as he tries to break the clinch. Alonso wants to get back to striking at distance but Lejonet won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward tries for a takedown but Ji sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ji gets a clinch. Ji dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Ji lands a body punch in the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Ji - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ward goes for a takedown attempt but Ji pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ji throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ji digs a good body shot into Ward's ribs. Ji steps into range and cracks Ward with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Ward flops backwards and Ji dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Squid Ward has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ji gets to his feet - Ward follows without any prompting. Ward looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ji cracks a nice hook into Ward's ribs. Ward is breathing heavily.

Ward is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ji lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ward up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Ji from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ward's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuivasa lands with a good body shot. A combination from Tuivasa does no damage. Stanislav has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Adam Stanislav has been cut. Tuivasa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tuivasa wants to slow Stanislav down by chopping away at his legs. Stanislav showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tuivasa.
