Malone tries to clinch but Samxona is having none of it.
Samxona shoots in and bounces Malone off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Malone has momentary wrist control but Samxona slips an elbow through the middle.
Malone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Samxona is controlling him.
Samxona sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Malone's guard.
Samxona prevents Malone from standing back up.
Samxona seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Takada kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - All Nightmare Long. Smith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Criminal Minded kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Julio Smith told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Lucas Lunar decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
