Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Kniezelis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wilson Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darius Kniezelis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kniezelis - the referee stops the clock and Reis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kniezelis. Reis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Reis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A combination from Kniezelis does no damage.
Kniezelis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kniezelis - that will leave a mark!
Kniezelis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Reis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kniezelis's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
No joy there for Kniezelis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reis misses with a looping left.
Kniezelis cracks Reis with an open hand slap.
Kniezelis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Reis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Reis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kniezelis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kniezelis. That's going to slow Reis down.
Reis misses with an uppercut.
Kniezelis wants to clinch up but Reis keeps it at a distance.
Kniezelis takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reis misses with a two punch combination.
Kniezelis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reis throws out the jab.
Kniezelis swinging wildly here.
Kniezelis is looking to clinch but Reis is avoiding it.
Reis lands a body shot.

Kniezelis darts in and clinches Reis up against the cage.

Kniezelis manages to break the clinch.
Reis lands a jab-cross combination.
Kniezelis ducks under a wild hook from Reis.
Kniezelis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Darius Kniezelis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kniezelis throws a nice looking combination but Reis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kniezelis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kniezelis fails to land with a series of punches.
Reis ducks under a wild hook from Kniezelis.
Reis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Kniezelis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kniezelis looks winded!
Kniezelis misses with a double jab.
Kniezelis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A big left from Reis misses.
Kniezelis misses with a two punch combination.
Reis lands a nice shot that snaps Kniezelis's head back.
Reis throws an overhand right that lands on Kniezelis's shoulder, as Kniezelis tries to avoid the shot.
Kniezelis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice straight punches there by Reis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Reis.
Kniezelis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Reis dips to his left and cracks Kniezelis with an uppercut!
Kniezelis wants to clinch but Reis slips to the side
and Kniezelis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Reis throws a hook to the side of Kniezelis's head but Kniezelis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Reis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Reis duly obliges.
Reis clobbers Kniezelis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kniezelis is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kniezelis gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Reis points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Kniezelis wakes up just in time to hear Reis thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wilson Reis!
